self check in Ixelles Apartment Retreat in the Heart of Brussels

Pre Christmas weekend

Pros: Great apartment with homey feeling... We have enjoyed the cozy livingroom with the kitchen space where I could cook our Pre Christmas dinner. The bathroom floor is heated, which is just great during the winter and added extra value for me to the place.. Some people were complaining about the tram noise but I couldn't hear it at all.. We slept really good in the bed too which means the mattress was good.

Cons: Small suggestion: I would add some bags for the trash as I didn't know what to put the plastic bottles and so on into.

Pros: This apartment was in a great location. The tram was right outside the door, and the train around the corner. A handy convenience store was underneath and a supermarket also around the corner. I could not fault the location at all. The apartment was very clean, modern and had everything you need, including air conditioning and a heated floor in the bathroom! We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely stay here again when we are in Brussels next. Even though it is nit in the heart of the city there are plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance. The city is also close to walk to.

Pros: The apartment was in a perfect location, close to shops, bars, restaurants and public transportation. It was clean, modern and had everything that we needed for our two week vacation. A fully equipped kitchen was ideal, the washing machine and dryer was very handy, soft and comfortable bed with block out curtains. There is a large supermarket around the corner and a convenience store underneath the apartment.

Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect.

Pros: It’s in very convenient place, was easy to get everywhere I needed, mostly on foot. The apartment is spacious, bed comfortable. Kitchen is everything if you want to prepare your food.

Cons: There are a few minor things that could be easily corrected. There was no soap in the toilet, wardrobe door could have handles as it’s inconvenient. There could be a cutting knife in the kitchen. As it was mentioned in the previous review, it was not very clean and there are things like construction tape and some drapes that could be put away.

Nice and very new place

Pros: Very spacious, nice place, wonderful big bed, good shower, easy check in, good value for money.

Cons: Some bits are a bit unfinished (curtains not all hung, painters tape still in the bathroom). But nothing major and definitely a very nice place to stay also for longer stay in Brussels.

Location parfaite pour marche de Noël … et autre.

Pros: L’appartement est idéalement situé, proche du centre, de l’avenue Louise et des quartiers plaisants de Bruxelles. Il y a une supérette au pied de l’appart, des restaus, des marches place Flagey samedi & dimanche. Quant à l’appart il est quasi neuf et très bien équipé, très lumineux.

Cons: Peut-être investir dans une couette plus grande pour le lit King size 😊😊😊

Wahnsinns Unterkunft

Pros: Die Lage war super, die Wohnung ebenfalls. Man hat sich wohl gefühlt.

Cons: Ehrlicherweise garnichts

Pros: Ubytování se nám moc líbilo, má velký potenciál, vše je nově a hezky zařízeno. Lokalita byla opravdu skvělá, přímo před domem je zastávka tramvaje. Nedaleko jsou zastávky autobusů a dalších linek tramvají. V blízkosti spousta kaváren a restaurací.

Cons: Docela velký ruch z ulice od projíždějících tramvají a aut, vše bylo hodně slyšet, což v noci nebylo příjemné. Ubytování by mohlo být trochu čistější, bylo zde hodně prachu a chlupů asi od předchozích návštěvníků se psem, napůl spadené závěsy, takže nešlo zatemnit apod. ...
