Good for short stay

Pros: Very nice and friendly host, able to contact him also during the stay. The apartment is warm and nice, in a very nice district of Bruxelles and there is enough space on the street to park (paid parking).

Cons: The apartment was clean but not extremely clean. The sponge in the kitchen was well used for instance. The bathroom is quite small and the door doesn't close entirely, it is a sliding door (not a major inconvenience but still).

Pros: The apartment is small and cozy. The space was perfect for a small family like ours. The kitchen is well-stocked with enough cutlery to cook small meals. The apartment is 2-3 min walk to the nearest tram stop and 7-8 min walk to metro. There is a huge Carrefour nearby too. Very convenient location wise. Overall I found it a great value for money.

Cons: The only downside is that the apartment is on the 2nd floor and the building has no lifts. The stairs are cramped. So carrying heavy luggage will be a problem.

Best apartment for the buck!

Pros: The apartment is very comfortable, and quite spacious. The kitchen was furnished with all the main things to be able to cook, bed was comfortable, WiFi was very fast, and the location is close to the Merode metro station (easy to go everywhere). Last but not least, the host is very helpful and very friendly!

Pros: The apartment was very clean. The spaces were as depicted at the photos. The location is perfect as it is near the Cinquantenaire park and there are Metro and Bus Stops in a walking distance. There are several markets, coffees and restaurants very close. The owner of the house was very polite.

Cons: The apartment is at the 2nd floor of an old building with no elevator. It is quite difficult for old people.

Good place to stay in close to Merode, with friendly and helpful host

Pros: Perfect location, a nice touch to have a couple of things in the kitchen (tea, oil, salt, even a small water and wine bottle), comfortable bed, good heating and shower/ bath.

Cons: Kitchen could do with a bit more equipment (baking form and tray to heat up food, serving spoon), house and apartment are quite old. Everything works fine though, for ex. good oven. A more stable shower cover to replace the curtain would be good.

Very cosy indeed

Pros: Very friendly host, we had everything we needed to even cook our own meals, the apartment even has an ironing machine and the natural light is abundant in the location, it is quite beautiful. 100% would recommend for cosy staying 😁
