Salt & Pepper Ghent

A very comfortable stay in a good location.

Pros: The apartment was in an excellent location for the city centre. It was very comfortable and perfect for 3 people. The facilities were all very good.

A peaceful retreat close to the vibrant heart of a wonderful city

Pros: The apartment was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, stylish and very comfortable. The location, whilst within easy walking distance of central Ghent was quiet and peaceful. There are many excellent restaurants,cafes and bars nearby and close access to fascinating riverside walks to enjoy Ghent’s history and architecture. The apartment is so conveniently located that we were able to visit an attraction, return for a rest and walk to another later in the day. Ellen was an extremely responsive and helpful host. We followed several of her recommendations for restaurants and all were very good (we also really enjoyed ‘Anders’, a Vietnamese restaurant, which is very near).

Comfortable central apartment with great host

Pros: A great apartment in an excellent location close to the centre of Ghent, but, for us, nice and quiet. Bed very comfortable, all well equipped, good sized shower and bathroom. Car parking under building very good. Ellen has prepared excellent instructions for arrival, keys etc, plus other useful information. Good supermarket around corner and chemist nearby (for anti mosquito goods!!). Overall, we were very happy with our stay.

Cons: There was nothing we did not like, hence high score. Some hopefully constructive thoughts are: as per some others, we did find the pillows too large/firm, so some options would be good. Also would be good to have either mosquito screens on the windows to allow some breeze through or air conditioning for the hot nights, not that anyone was expecting circa 30 degrees that did occur - global warming?!!

Pros: Well Equipped, spotlessly clean in a great location. Quiet at night but close to the centre. Super Market round the corner. Definitely recommend.

Best place to spend your precious days in Ghent..

Pros: Clean, comfortable, modern, very well equipped, central apartment in the heart of Ghent.. With a very very kind and understanding host.. Ellen is very interested in her guests..She gave us all the informations very clearly.. Me and my family ( my wife and 6 years old daughter ) we were more than happy to stay in this apartment..

Pros: Really nice apartment for a small family. Clean, warm, has good facilities. Host was really helpful and quick to respond.
