B&B Aalsters-genot

Pros: This is how b and b should be done, nice comfy warm large rooms with everything , a well thought out first floor dining and chill area looking out over open countryside, good breakfast selection of quality food, and best of all a really GREAT host

Cons: I booked it knowing it was quite a way out of town but it is, so do your homework and enjoy the difference between the Aalst centre ( which is great !) and this lovely place on the rural outskirts

Pros: Nice quite place. Christine is a great host. Comfortable beds, big room for a family of 4 with a 10 and a 6 year olds. Great continental breakfast and secure parking with a little play area. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay and explore Ghent or Brussels or the area!

Comfortable and pleasant stay

Pros: We stayed for one night before leaving Belgium, and everything was great. The B&B is located a short drive from Brussels, with free and convenient parking – a big advantage if you're traveling by car, since parking in the capital itself can be tricky. The host was kind and charismatic, and breakfast was delicious. The family room was well-equipped, even including a toilet seat adapter for our little one – a thoughtful touch that made things easier. There was also a jacuzzi and a massaging shower, which was a nice bonus.

Cons: No complaints at all

Pros: A fantastic warm welcome, and a host who can't do enough to make sure you have a great stay. This is quite remote from the main town, but a beautiful and peaceful setting with a nice terrace above the rooms to sit and enjoy the countryside. I can't thank the owner enough for such a lovelly breakfast of fresh bread, jams, soft boiled egg, fresh pastries, fruit and more. I ordered food to the accommodation as probably a bit too far to walk into town. But this is easy as there are plenty of places to order from locally. There is a nature reserve on the doorstep, so a 10k route to walk is available which is peaceful and scenic. I'd travelled from Ipswich in Suffolk, so slept like a log as it was so quiet in the room. The bed was comfortable and the room clean and tidy. Thanks for a wonderful stay, and for the fantastic hospitality. Simon

Cons: If you want to be close to bars and restraunts then this probably isn't the right place for you. However, if you want tranquility and nature then this is perfect.

Nice quiet location in Aalst

Pros: The B&B was in a lovely quiet location with a small amount of parking. The host was very friendly and provided us with a good continental breakfast.

Cons: The parking was not as big as we had expected and so we had to park our vehicle on the road.

Happy.

Cons: How short my stay was.

Pros: We had good time, the room was spotless clean, beds were comfy, breakfast option plentiful and tasty and the highlight of the stay was the jacuzzi bathtub, which was simply amazing. Host is very responsive and attentive.

Cons: Everything was great, maybe sauna would be an amazing addition!

Pros: My room was very pleasant, with a comfortable bed, lovely walk-in shower and the surroundings are very peaceful. Christine is an excellent hostess, very welcoming and helpful, and interesting to talk to. The breakfast was delicious, with a lot of choice. I'll definitely keep Aalsters Genot on my list for future trips!

Cons: There was nothing to dislike.
