Pros: The views from the apartment were amazing, and location was perfect. The apartment was also very comfortable and spacious. The host was very professional and friendly and created a great experience both at check-in and check-out.

Amazing penthouse apartment in Antwerp city centre

Pros: Daan (our host) gave excellent directions to the property and met us on our arrival. He greeted us, showed us around the beautiful penthouse, and then gave us many tips and ideas for exploring the beautiful city of Antwerp. Some tips were not on the usual tourist beat, but were great finds. The apartment is very spacious, air conditioned, well equipped, clean, and comfortable. Little extras like tea, coffee, oil, and spices were provided, and even a welcome local beer waiting in the fridge. The apartment is very well equipped for self-catering but also within easy walking distance of the many bars and restaurants within the city. There is a very informative welcome pack with tips on nearby supermarkets, restaurants, and local places of interest. Even though this paratment is in the city centre it is very quiet at night, no traffic or loud music noises to keep you awake. Excellent value for money and we are planning to visit again.

Cons: No improvements recommended. All was very good.

Very comfortable, spacious retro apartment with all we needed and then some.

Pros: The view was great. Daan was happy to spend time to answer our questions about Antwerp and was available throughout our stay if we needed anything. Attention to detail was excellent.

Cons: The weather was quite warm and the unit got quite hot. The window coverings on the large western windows was just adequate. It would have been glorious in winter. Light in the kitchen didn’t work but there were other options.

A wonderful few days

Pros: We loved the apartment, which was very spacious and comfortable. It was a great location and wonderful to have pleasant views.

Easy interaction with the host. Not just another Ikea apartment, this one has character and a story

Cons: The entrance hall and elevator look relatively shabby compared to the apartment

Pros: Everything. The apartment was fantastic. Well equipped, plenty of room, clean and in a superb location. Daan was helpful and willing to spend time showing us the apartment and advising what Antwerp had to offer. All in all just about the best apartment we've ever stayed at. Can't recommend highly enough.

Excellent location and very comfortable accommodation

Pros: Stunning views, private, good location relative to station and tourist areas.

Cons: Check in time a little late for convenience.

Superb apartment - a home from home

Pros: Fantastic host, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and spoke excellent English. The apartment was spacious with a balcony at the back to greet the sunrise (although the view is not great) and a much larger one at the front with table and chairs overlooking the park with some beautiful sunsets. Kitchen facilities include oven, large fridge, microwave, toaster, hob, washing machine, etc. TV with numerous channels including Netflix. Near to Antwerp Centraal and not far to walk to the historic centre or catch public transport to go further afield. Large comfy bed and loads of wardrobe space.

Cons: Hard to find fault but we had a little trouble getting the oven to work and we couldn't find instructions, even online. The host said we could contact him with any issues but we worked out how to use the grill inside the oven and that worked out fine, so we didn't bother him (also forgot to mention it to him when we handed back the key, sorry).

Pros: Great communication, excellent central location. Fully equipped with everything you might desire and more. Next to a lovely Park and a super foodery/ coffee shop \

Highly recommended

Pros: Fantastic apartment with everything we needed. Great view from the balcony and lovely to have plenty of fresh air in the apartment with breeze flowing through. Very good communication with host Daan regarding check in and helpful information provided once we got there on features of the apartment and things to do in Antwerp.
