SHWAY - The First Mate's Watch

An excellent base for exploring the art and history of Antwerp- of which there is a lot!

Pros: Very well appointed apartment in a refurbished dockside building. Great views of MAS Museum

Cons: Great location if you want that north side of Antwerp. Not so good if you want eg the Fine Art Museum. The nearest tram line is out of action for roadworks at the moment. Tram line beyond the dock is useful but a new one so not shown on older maps. Also, be aware that the apartment is up 3 floors of steep steps. Ok for me but would be difficult for some

A very nice apartment, but very loud neighbours

Pros: The apartment is nice. It was clean. Location was perfect. All in all, well equipped, and the owner is very responsive for messages, which was really nice.

Cons: I don't know if that's a constant issue, but the neighbours were super loud during the day, too loud at nights, and also sounded like domestic violence my last morning, which was quite scary.

Pros: Apartamento bem localizado, mesmo em frente ao Maas Antuérpia, com transportes públicos nas redondezas sendo que nos deslocamos sempre a pé até ao centro (caminhada de 15/20 minutos). O apartamento estava aquecido á nossa chegada. Cozinha bem equipada.

Pros: Nice modern apartment in trendy neighbourhood with lots of nice restaurants and bars. Both the double bed and the sofa were decently comfortable, the kitchen was decently equipped.

Cons: While it was nice to be in a vibrant neighbourhood, it's also right above a restaurant/bar, which can be noisy until very late. I got used to it on the second night though, wasn't too bad. One of the blinds was unfortunately broken, but we helped ourselves with some towels. The stairs leading up to the apartment are very narrow, bit of a hassle with luggage, but we managed.

Insgesamt alles sehr gut/positiv.

Pros: Die Lage. Der Blick auf das MAS ist besonders, außerdem die Möglichkeit, im Hafenbecken zu schwimmen.

Cons: Durch die Gastronomie kehrt (am Wochenende) erst spät Ruhe ein. Die Bettleuchten haben keinen Ein-Aus-Schalter. Das Doppelbett hat eine große Decke (Geschmacksache).

Echt vakantie!!

Pros: Rel licht, zonnig appartement met een uniek zicht op het MAS, de jachthaven en een stukje van de Schelde!

Cons: Weet dat het mooie uitzicht vanochtend de derde verdieping te bewonderen is, maar dat er geen lift is!;-)

Pros: Super Lage, alles prima! Unkomplizierter Check-in und -out.

Tolle, gut gelegene Wohnung mit Aussicht

Pros: Sehr gut gelegene, angenehm aufgeteilte Wohnung mit super Aussicht. Viele Restaurants in der Nähe. Würde sie wieder buchen. Fahrradweg vor der Tür, so kommt man mit dem Fahrrad schnell wohin man möchte.

Fantastische oudejaarsavond met zicht op MAS!

Pros: Mooi, verzorgd appartement op een uitstekende ligging in Antwerpen! Alles is voorzien om er een aangenaam verblijf te hebben.

Cons: Ramen openden niet gemakkelijk, zetelbed kantelt om wanneer je teveel aan de zijkant ligt en het appartement ligt op de 3e verdieping dus minder geschikt als je niet erg mobiel bent maar dit zijn slechts details. Het is een erg mooi, perfect onderhouden appartement!!
