Great stay
Pros: Apartments are modern, nice and cosy. Lot of natural light because of big windows, quiet location at the river.
Cons: Only disadvantage is there is no washing machine in the apartment, but you have to use the hotel one, which is located in the parking garage.

Extremely enjoyable. A quiet and very comfortable, spacious place to stay place
Pros: Great location for walking into the centre of Gent plus the Dampoort train station was a few minutes away. The Apartment was spacious, bright clean and extremely quiet. Very well equipped kitchen. Staff at the reception desk at the Ibis (where you collect the keys) were very helpful.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of

Great for an extended weekend stay
Pros: The apartments are very nicely decorated, spacious and exactly what we needed for an extended weekend. Public transport is easily accessible and, despite a party on the Saturday night with noise from the courtyard, it was barely audible with the door closed. The side overlooking the river was very serene and quiet. There were plenty of restaurants, a bakery and a supermarket within easy walking distance. It was relatively easy to find a car parking space at the Ibis, but availability may depend on the time of day.
Cons: It was just a few of the little things. There were items in the dishwasher when we arrived (albeit clean); there were plenty of towels but not enough large ones, so we had to get some from another apartment; the sofa beds were great, but we found a lighter and an ice-lolly stick attached to one when we unrolled it, so clearly the bed sheet had not been cleaned or replaced since the previous guests; and one sofa bed was really just a sofa that would only fit one short person. None of this ruined our experience, but I couldn't give full marks for these reasons.

Pros: Location..close to centre..and train station..very easy walking.ibis staff v friendly and helpful .v.quiet building..
Cons: Apt walls could do with refresh..lots of scuff marks..rain forest shower head was very blocked..didn't work but was replaced the next day..also coffee machine was replaced....was leaking...make up on one of the single bed pillowcases...fluff under the double bed..balcony furniture rusty and covered in dust...I am more critical than usual because of the list of rules I had to sign on booking in...which included to brush the floors before leaving..

Pros: Good 2-bedroom flat. Nice bathroom. Equipped kintchen. Having a nice parking against additional fee. It is very near to one of the 2 train stations in the city which is an excellent opportunity for trips to nearby cities.
Cons: It is a separate building with no connection to the reception, restaurant, and breakfast room. They have some very strange rule that you have to clean the apartment before leaving.

Nice location close to the city center, cosy apartment with hotel services nearby
Pros: The canal side is great and it is close to everything. The ibis budget hotel's faculties can be used (eating, gym), paid. The apartment is fine, everything is given for cooking, eating at a big table or for 2 outside on the terrace. The bathroom is nice. AC can be controlled per room. The oven functions as microwave too.
Cons: The main bed is comfortable, the 2 singles are less and the couch that can be opened is not that comfy to sit on. The light in the toilet works with a motion detector, it was constantly switching on/off all day every 15-30 seconds.

Overall, good stay
Pros: Beds in the bedrooms were comfortable. Liked having the toilet and shower separate, especially since there were 5 of us. Everything was clean, lots of towels. Nice to have access to the reception at the hotel if needed. Location was good, close to centre as well as trains and buses. Nice to have the hotel restaurant close by. Grocery store close by. Staff was friendly.
Cons: Sofa bed didn't work, couldnt pull it out, we mentioned it to reception twice, and they said they would send someone up and never did which was quite frustrating. That sofa was also very uncomfortable as a couch. Having the toilet separate from the shower was nice however there was only a lock on the toilet door, would have been nice to have one on the shower as well. Had to take out your own garbage and recycling to their bins in the laundry room and had to sweep the floors, which was the first time we come across that. Freezer box was a bit frosty and dirty.

Pros: Great place to stay with family or group of friends. Well situated walking distance to Gent Town, the Station and other amenities. Hotel Staff friendly and the hotel caters for all your needs if you decide not to self cater in the apartment.. The apartment unit we stayed in had plenty of space , for a group of 4 adults.
