Fabulous location. Great size for couples traveling together.

Pros: Loved the size of the apartment and the great location. Well equipped kitchen and a lovely spacious lounge room.

Cons: Lovely wooden floors but very noisy so you don’t want to be a light sleeper if sharing with others. Maybe some rugs or runners would help lessen the noises.

A central apartment in Gent

Pros: The apartment was in the centre of Gent which made it a convenient site to visit the sites and restaurants, etc.. The owners were very helpful and responded quickly to my questions. They also registered the car for access to the pedestrian zone. I had registered for the Gent emission zone.

Cons: The switches in the lounge and bedroom did not work as expected.

Amazing stay with family!

Pros: Amazing apartment! Good location, good size rooms, very comfy beds. It's so nice that my children expressed many times that they want to move in permanently!🤣

Cons: Only the entrance a bit odd and you need to use keys to close the apartment door even when you are inside. I guess it's kinda safe but the whole family had to go in and out as one group because there is only one set of keys.

Pros: Just a beautiful apartment, with extremely high ceilings. The main hallway of the building is weird but don't let that fool you.

Cons: This wasn't a problem for us, but make sure you're a good driver if you want to get into the underground parking lot underneath the building. It's a tight squeeze. Put your mirrors in!

Great house in a beautiful location - I would recommend this property for groups of 6.

Pros: Ghent was a beautiful city and it was a highlight of our trip. The property was in a wonderful location - just out of the bustle, but close enough to the action. There was a 24 hour supermarket (automated) around the corner, so we were able to buy groceries for breakfast & lunch, and go out dining in the city. We had a large SUV which just fitted into the garage - which was handy to have below the property.

Cons: Driving to the property/garage was slightly nerving. The hosts helped us with our concerns and registered our vehicle for us. My family members guided me down the driveway. I did (later) receive a 56 euro fine for driving on a road where cars are forbidden, which was my fault - but I was unaware that there were some roads we were not permitted to drive on (I assumed the 'registration' of the vehicle would entitle me to drive on any of the roads (carefully as it is shared with pedestrians). We were following the navigation from the phone to leave the city and was unfamiliar with the signage - so I would suggest those driving to prepare for this.

Relaxed family stay. Everything we needed was already thought about by our hosts.

Pros: Home away from home. Everything was thought of and ready for us. Wonderful location. Beautiful retro living space. Enough space and privacy for all 4 of us.

Cons: The bathroom is through the bedrooms. But once you get used to it, it seems fine.

Pros: Perfect location. All top places are in walking distance. Theoretically enough space even for a group of 7-8 people, if they’re ascetic enough. Smooth check in check out, and apartment was really clean by check in. 3 wc’s in apartment. Also internal terrace is really cozy.

Cons: Very tricky room layout: for instance , access to only bathroom you must pass either one or another bedroom, no alternatives. Also - room setups vary a lot, from really good space master bedroom with huge bed to small 6 sqm approx. bunk bed room. Apartment definitely requires some renovation - two external walls are with significant traces of the flood. Wood floor cracks a lot which was irritating strongly, especially when our child was taken to bed to nap/night sleep. Taking to account cost per night - it felt a bit too expensive with all those cons.
