Secret Walls

Pros: You enter the premises a bit like in a mystery movie, yet everything goes smoothly from the very beginning. Although there is no front desk and only four room (if I am not mistaken), the provided communicated regularly and provided entry code and other information as soon as the payment has been debited from the payment card. The place is nice, I did really like the interior, which is well furbished and cosy. I was excited about a whole supply of Nespresso and teas that would last for about three weeks! And that welcome bag of Haribo sweets and Belgian soap was also very nice. Thanks for that! Secret Walls does not offer breakfast, yet provides for some tips in the nearby neightbourhood (including place for dinner). I may also appreciate that my room contained a second floor with room windows, where I could gaze at the stars (had it not been for a cloudy sky :-). Overall, I may recommend the place for its cozy feeling, nice design and many many goodies you will surely appreciate.

Cons: It's not so much a criticism, but rather a notice: in case your room is in the upper part (such as room 4), then get ready you will have to climb three floors of narrow stairs, which can be a real test of your physical fitness, especially with a heavy suitcase (so it may definitely not be recommended for people with heart conditions). What may also be unusual is that there are no toilets in the room - toilet was, in my case, located on the same floor, directly opposite to the entrance to my room (I personally do not have any issue with this, nevertheless it is worth mentioning).

Ideal location and stay for a city that has a lot to offer.

Pros: Simple concept but clean beautifully decorated and equipped for a one night stay.

Cons: We had booked 2 rooms and we arrived around 4pm. My room wasn’t ready. I reached out to Julie who was apologetic and quick to fix the issue.

Lovely wee escape

Pros: Great wee room, nice view of the architecture, walking distance from Vismark christmas market and easy to find. Street was nice and quiet. The room was decorated nicely and was very clean. Shower is overhead and handheld, access codes worked great, no messing about with keys. Would recommend and stay again if back in Brussels. Bed was extremely comfortable.

Cons: The stairs to the rooms are very narrow and windy, better suited for young adults. Great for city break.

Well priced, funky apartment.

Pros: Really funky apartment, clean and roomy with all the basics, good price.

Cons: Just the basics, no TV, some may not like the area (safe though).

Perfect weekend in Brussels

Pros: I loved absolutely everything. The accommodation has everything you need for a short stay (3-4 days). Everything was very clean, the location was perfect and communication with owners fast and easy. I didn't have a fridge in my room but there was one in the kitchen which was perfect. I could leave my luggage before and after check in/check out times. The building is really well-thought and organized perfectly, especially for solo travelers or in pair. Definitelly recommend and hope to come back!

Cons: The guys in the building next door had some party one evening so if you're light sleeper make sure to bring ear plugs.

Pros: This apartment is close to the central part of the city, it was very clean and I liked the design. I also liked a very comfortable bed. Overall, it is a safe option for a short trip, I am very glad I found this place.

Cons: Soundproofing is poor.

Pros: Awesome location in a quiet part of the city but within walking distance!

Pros: nice room. good light blocking curtains. shower good.

Cons: only access by stairs. was ok for me but would have been inconvenient with a small child or mobility issues

Pros: Convenient location and a lot of comfort - I really liked my stay. I had a room on the top floor, and there was a loft that I used as a sitting area. Everything was good and clean, and I really liked the design of the room.

Cons: The stairs are rather narrow and steep, it was not a problem for me but it could be, especially if you have a big suitcase

My stay was nice and worth the price of the hotel.

Pros: There was no breakfast which was fine. The room was nice and clean.

Cons: The neighborhood was not the best but okay.
