A gem in Evergem!

Pros: The hot tub was brilliant fun, but was eclipsed by the hosting, and the freshest home baked breakfast in Belgium (exceptional experience - thank you).

Everything is great

Pros: The breakfast was fantastic: freshly squeezed juice and bread baked by the landlord himself. The night before, I even saw the landlord and his wife kneading dough, and the landlord said he was a baker.

Cons: The bathroom is a bit small

Pros: Very friendly. Nice quiet place. Very good hot tube

Pros: The place has really nice beer and jacuzzi. Also, it is quite near a train station.

Cons: The room was a bit small.

Lovely place to stay when visiting Ghent

Pros: Marc and Katty were very warm and hospitable throughout our stay. Their rooms are on one side of a beautifully appointed house. We stayed in the family room with our two young children. The beds were very comfortable and our hosts had left some small things like teas and coffee to make our stay relaxed. We also had access to the hot tub in the garden which was a treat! Marc was on hand to give us excellent advice about the local area and the best way to visit nearby Ghent. We wouldn't just recommend, we are going to come back!

A great stay – would recommend

Pros: The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The room was very clean, and we especially enjoyed the rich and tasty breakfast (available for an extra fee). One of the highlights was definitely the outdoor hot tub – perfect for relaxing after a long day. The hosts kindly let guests use it. There's also free parking and access to Netflix, which was a nice bonus.

Cons: The room is in the attic with sloping ceilings, so it might feel a bit cramped for taller guests. Also, the sink for washing hands and face is located in the room itself rather than the bathroom, which felt a bit unusual and less private.

Like a visit to family.

Pros: Very welcoming host. He could not have been more helpful. Loved the hot tub. Just what the doctor orders at this point in our holiday. We used the stop as a launch for our visit to Ghent. It worked well for that. The host and hot tub would see me stay again if life beings me this way. Room and en-suite was upstairs. Good tea and coffee facilities even a pack of M&Ms to welcome us. Typical good BnB. We did not take up the breakfast offer. Sounded good but not in our plan.

Cons: We are traveling with our adult daughter and the third bed was fine but not great. With the festival on in Ghent accomodation about was a bit pricey as was this place.

Very lovely stay, I am sure I would repeat if there would be an opportunity.

Pros: It is very beautiful house, calm area and very nice people. The hospitality was enourmous. The jukuzi outside was just what we needed. All around the house was clean and in nice condition. Breakfast we loved.

Cons: There is nothing what I would call I did not like, this is just about subjective preference. The apartments are built under the roof, so the air conditioner is must, which was there. If you don’t like it, there might be hot.

This lovely place is a little oasis of relaxation, thanks to the kind hosts.

Pros: Beautiful cottage tucked away behind a residential street surrounded by a lovely garden. The hosts Marc & Katty were so lovely & we felt at home. Marc was so kind & couldn't have been a more welcoming host. We had a late arrival but had time for a jacuzzi before bed. My son said he had the best sleep in memory & we left very relaxed with Marc's homebaked warm bread & croissants. We couldn't stay for breakfast but I can almost guarantee the breakfast made by a retired baker would be delicious! Due to our circumstances we couldn't go to Ghent so we will be back!
