Excellent for a Short Stay

Pros: I had a very pleasant stay. The receptionist (Nino), was exceptionally kind and helpful, and the rest of the staff (breakfast team, cleaning staff, and the other receptionist) were also very welcoming and ready to assist The breakfast was basic but perfectly fine, with free coffee available throughout the day. The room was clean, simple, and well-equipped for a one-night stay. The location was perfect for me, as the train station is very close, which made both arrival and departure very convenient.

Cons: The only downside was that the neighborhood felt a bit uncomfortable at night.

Convenient for Midi/Zuid

Pros: Good location near midi/zuid station, perfect for late arrival/early departure. Comfy bed. Friendly front desk staff

Cons: Slightly weird light switches - turned off bedside lamp at night, but in morning had to turn it in with main switch by room entrance, for example. TV didn't have channels tuned. Shower was good but has no door and I ended with a large puddle on the floor outside as design is not great

Close to the station and great receptionist!

Pros: Ended up fighting with 800 other Eurostar passengers that had just been ejected into Brussels due to a train cancellation. Reception queue was out the door - but the guy on reception handled it calmly and sensibly in a situation that could have escalated. Didn't get his name, but he was superb.

Cons: The rooms do not have a space to swing a cat (swinging cats is also frowned upon in some countries). But two beds, clean linen, clean toilet and shower with the eseentials you need for an unplanned overnight stop.
