Good budget hotel near station and city

Pros: Friendly staff and very close to the train station. It was also only a 20 minute walk into the Grand Place ( main market). There are lots of shops close by on the way into town. The family room was a good size and well equipped.

Cons: There are works for an upgraded tramline outside and this means that many of the shops on the street have closed while the works take place. This is not the hotels fault and as soon as you get away from the works the shops are all open.

Pros: The staff were very helpful and nice, polite when soeaking to us.

Cons: They were some issues with the lights in the room but I did not want to complain about. I hope you resolve them.

Pros: Close to Brussels Midi Station and only a short walk to the Pre-Metro to get you into the city centre.

Cons: Building works near the hotel made it a bit more difficult to get to, but that is no fault of the hotel!

Good choice for a short stay

Pros: My flight was delayed until the following evening, so instead of waiting around the airport, I decided to return to Brussels. I chose the Midi-Zuid Hotel for its convenient location—it's close to the Midi station and also within walking distance of the city center (around 15 minutes on foot). The staff is very kind

Cons: Even if the AC is present in all the rooms (probably), it is out of order, probably because of the cost. A fan is provided instead. In summer, this is surely an inconvenience. A new metro line/station is being built in the area, so be prepared to encounter a lot of construction, but this has nothing to do with the hotel, in fact.

Pros: The room is very comfortable, clean, has all the amenities, air conditioning, a super small refrigerator, a super comfortable bed, a TV, I'm satisfied, everything is great!

Pros: Close to Midi Train Station and Lemonnier tram stop, groceries nearby. Small breakfast cafe in the ground floor which serves reasonable variety of foods. Hairdryer in the bathroom, clean towels every day. Luggage store available.
