YOOMA Urban Lodge

A fun, relaxed place to stay- especially for families!

Pros: We had a great stay at Yooma Urban Lodge in Brussels! The room was spacious, clean, and perfect for our family of five — the kids loved having their own bunk beds, and our bed was super comfortable. The hotel’s comic-themed décor is really fun, with each room designed around different comic scenes, which made the stay feel unique. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and both the breakfast and afternoon buffet had a good variety and tasted great. The hotel is very family-friendly, with a playroom, pool table area, and even a small cinema room, which our kids absolutely loved. The location is also very convenient — just a few minutes’ walk to Lemonnier metro stop and about a 10–15 minute walk to Brussels Midi train station. Pros: Layout of the bedroom is ok but family privacy can be improved for the adults

Cons: Can't complain, but to minimise salt in the food

Cons: The bath water not hot enough and not stable . Cartoon pictures in our room it’s not suitable for my two daughters.They are bit scary.

Pros: The staff were super friendly and welcoming and really seemed to enjoy working there. The cartoon theme was great for our kids. The room was huge with comfortable beds and nice lighting.

Cons: The location is handy for the Eurostar and there is a local metro station nearby. We did however find the local area to have a huge amount of litter (including human faeces on the floor in the station) and there was some antisocial behaviour on the streets.

Pros: The ladies at the reception were all wonderful 👍. They were warm, welcoming, and made us feel truly comfortable. When we asked the lady on the next shift about our room, she immediately checked the system and quickly informed us that it was already ready. The room facilities were quite nice, and the hotel itself has a lot of character.

Cons: The two gentlemen we encountered at the reception, although polite, didn’t really think from the customer’s perspective. We arrived early, and without checking the room status, he simply told us we couldn’t check in yet and could only store our luggage. We ended up paying to use the luggage lockers and waited in the lobby unnecessarily. The next day, another gentleman at the reception had a similarly rigid and unhelpful attitude.

Pros: Location very good its 15mins walk to city centre

Overall was very comfortable and I would come back for sure.

Pros: Since I travelled with the kids, the room was very fun with the cartoons. Made them really happy.

Cons: The shower in the bathroom had to be removed by myself because of the rust making the color of the water become orange. After I left I put it back bur forgot to mention that to the staff.

Good value for money, central location, colourful vibrant setting that’s friendly

Pros: It is bright and colourful but suitable for all generations. There is access to lounge areas and fresh water with refillable bottles. There’s a buffet dinner you can have which was great for us as we had been travelling a lot and had a long day.

Cons: We were rushed checking out, had staff waiting at our door and then charged us 30€ for leaving 20 mins after check out time
