Pros: The property is lovely, but 15 minutes far away from the station, and 30 minutes far away from the city centre

Cons: Only one restaurant at the corner, but amazing

Good experience

Pros: The hotel owner, Christine, is a friendly and attentive person. She made our stay comfortable and was always ready to help and answer any questions. Our room was very spacious, clean, and stylishly decorated. The breakfast was great! It was varied and filling, including fresh pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, yogurts, and, of course, excellent coffee. It’s the perfect way to start the day. The hotel is located in a quiet area, not far from Ghent Central Station, which is very convenient if you are traveling by train.

Pros: The landlady was very nice and accommodating, the place was comfortable and at a good lication close to stops but also 30/40min walk from important places. I really liked the album showing the renomation of the place. Would definitely recommend staying there!

Cons: The room was clean and tidy overall, bit somewhat dusty, especially the floor.

Lovely quiet B&B in Ghent

Pros: A lovely B&B option in Ghent- it's in a beautiful neighbourhood and the surroundings are great, quiet and felt very safe. It's very near to the main train station which was great as I was moving to a different city everyday whilst I was in Belgium so for me that was important. My room was huge- much larger than I'd anticipated, with beautiful big windows across the leafy front street. I slept very well! Facilities are great and there's everything you could want and need. Bathroom/ shower was especially lovely to use in the morning. I didn't take breakfast so can't comment on if it was good or not but it's not included in the room price option I made. I ended up self checking in, which was fine in the end.

Cons: It's a 30-40 minute walk into the centre of Ghent which is quite a walk and that's mainly along busy main roads so it did feel quite out of the way. I tended to walk into Ghent centre and then get a tram or bus back. Transport options stop very close to the B&B so it was pretty convenient in that sense. However if you don't mind a meander there's some lovely streets between the B&B and the centre with less touristy cafes and shops which are well worth a look at. Room was lovely and was overall very clean (bathroom and linens), but the room was quite dusty and wooden floor was not cleaned well, so could be some improvement there. I'm not sure if I could have kept my luggage there but given the nature of the self check in I didn't want to be restricted on times, so I found a hotel round the corner where you can get cheap day storage.

Pros: The room is very comfortable, and the host lady was very kind and informative. She also told us the story of her family and the house, which is very nice to hear.

Cons: Everything is great honestly, but I found some spider web at the corner of a window, but there's not many dusts in the room so it's fine. But the double bed is actually two twin beds with a connector in the middle, sometimes I feel like I fall in the creek between the beds. but it's no big deal.

Charming BnB

Pros: The room was large, comfortable but I was given a complimentary upgrade. Good location to train station.

Cons: I only spoke to the host on the telephone and didn't meet at all. I didn't see anyone for the 2 days I was there. As it was listed as a BnB I expected breakfast to be included but it was 17euro extra so I declined.

Great stay!

Pros: Very comfy and well equipped room with everything you need. Also, great to have a shared kitchen access and a small fridge in the room! Really liked the stay.

Cons: I find 17€ for breakfast quite a lot, but it probably depends on what you expect from a breakfast.

I very much enjoyed staying at this B&B!

Pros: Christine was an excellent hostess who went the extra mile to ensure that I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast I enjoyed was sumptuous and featured a large variety of cheeses, eggs, bread and pastries, a latte and much more. It fortified me for the long day of sightseeing that I had planned. The B&B is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our stay of 2 nights - wish we could have stayed longer.

Pros: The host, Christine, was very welcoming and chatted to us about the history behind the name of the B and B which was very interesting. Breakfast was amazing - there was so much to choose from and we had enough for lunch as well! Our room was very comfortable too.

Cons: Paying for the on street parking.
