What a great find....

Pros: Beautiful B&B, lovely location with the harbour opposite, ample parking, and a pleasant 5 minute walk to the centre of Zelzate. A lovely, old converted building, the whole place is tastefully decorated. The rooms are very comfortable, quiet, and spotlessly clean (cleaned daily), as is the rest of the communal areas and dining area. Excellent breakfast buffet choices, with great coffee and fresh pastries. The proprietor Katrin is a great host and very welcoming. My go-to place to stay now while working in Ghent.

Cons: Nothing!

Fascinating place

Pros: It was a fascinating place to stay and very cosy with a beautiful view on the small port.

Cons: No fan nor a/c so very hot in summer

Comfortable, Friendly and Good Value

Pros: Everything was very professionally done and things had been well-thought through - door entry codes, WiFi code and necessary information. Staff were very friendly and available when needed. Decor very pleasing and lots of areas to sit/relax inside and out. The breakfast was tasty, varied and just enough. Access to microwave and fridge very welcome. A calm and peaceful environment which is clean and well maintained.

Cons: Nothing was bad. Some strange noises at night from the roof which was possibly due to the age of the building and the wind. Stairs are steep and more suited for able and perhaps younger people but we were made aware of this so it is not a criticism.

Excellent place for a short stay in the post industrial zone.

Pros: Beautiful building adapted from the old custom office. Great design, beautiful garden, nice and very helpful host.

A Perfect Home Away from Home

Pros: The room was spacious, very quiet, and spotlessly clean, with plenty of natural light and lovely views. It was fully equipped and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The common areas were cozy, peaceful, and just as well-equipped. Breakfast was delicious, made with high-quality ingredients. Pets are welcome, which is a huge plus, and the owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The building itself is charming, and the hotel offers all the comforts you could want. Truly felt like being at home. Highly recommended!

Had some problems to find the B&B. Overall I did like my stay.

Pros: Breakfast was very good. Very friendly and helpful people

Cons: The small stairs to the rooms. Difficult to go up with heavy luggage. The lady was willing to help. Of course I declined-

I felt at home. The breakfast was really good and fresh. The room was very clean and tidy. I loved it.

Pros: Super clean and cosy. The breakfast was homemade, with a good variety of food, fresh and delicious !

A nice find, will use again.
