Lovely stay in Ghent

Pros: Lovely apartment in Ghent. We stayed 3 nights and it was perfect for our needs. The living room and bedroom are very spacious and nicely decorated. The terrasse overlooks the city and we were lucky enough to enjoy some sunshine during our holiday. Shower and toilets are respectively on the first and second floor, where the room is on the third. We don’t have mobility issues and we came home in the evenings, so it wasn’t a problem. The main door is shared with a pub where you can eat tasty (and gluten free as I’m celiac) fries.

Amazing place ever

Pros: The owner was very kind and welcoming. The studio we booked was beautifully decorated, comfortable and extremely clean. My entire trip to Belgium exceeded my every expectation. I look forward to coming back again.

Apartment in the center of Ghent

Pros: Central and easily accessible location in Ghent. Apartment on several floors (internal wooden staircase) which I do not recommend for people who have mobility problems/difficulties. Clean and comfortable room. Bathroom (with shower) separated from WC and are located on different floors. Nice living room next to the room with sofa and flat screen tv + mini fridge. Pretty dormer window with city views. Overall my opinion is good.

Cons: Separate bathroom and toilet on two different floors. Nothing else..

Great stay!

Pros: We loved the place. Yes, there are some stairs that you need to climb and the bathroom is in a different floor than the beddrom, but if that is not a problem for you is a really nice stay. We felt welcomed and really comfortable, its close to the center of the city and there are plenty of shops nearby. There is also cheap paid parking nearby. We defenitely recoomend it! the views from the little balcony are super nice!

Cons: There is no place in the room to clean dishes so maybe if you staying for more than a couple of days could be something to think about it, but the truth is that is a room so its not something it should have, its more a nice to have. Its honestly a nice place to stay for a few days.

Very good stay

Pros: Everything about this stay was very good - nice location, pleasant host and good facilities. The room is very cozy and interesting, the terrace is a big benefit of the room. The host is also very pleasant and the room had everything needed and was clean.

Cons: The toilet and shower are on a different floor but we were informed about it in advance and it wasn’t an issue for us during our stay, so it’s not the thing we didn’t like but rather a specifics of the room which can be highlighted.

Pros: Location a short 15 walk from the station Ghent St Pieters, and 15 mins the old town. Bar on the corner, excellent Italian restaurant over the road, supermarket close by. Quiet, light airy clean comfortable bohemian appartment with bonus of an outside rooftop area. Bedroom has a sink in the corner. The appartment is at the top of the building. Shower is 3 flights down stairs which is no problem, and the toilet a further 2 flights down which may be of some consideration. The host is excellent, communicative and helpful.

Pros: Centraal, sfeervol, prive, vriendelijke en flexibele host, value for money, fijn dakterras, veel leuke zitplekjes.

Cons: Alles was goed! Misschien nog fijn: wat bestek en een koelkastje voor als je zelf ontbijt wilt regelen.

Pros: L'appartamento è molto spazioso, accogliente e ubicato in un'ottima posizione, sul percorso che collega la stazione al centro storico. L'appartamento è luminoso e silenzioso, il materasso confortevole e il terrazzo sul tetto davvero delizioso. Liesbeth è stata cortese e solerte nelle risposte ai miei messaggi. La presenza delle scale per raggiungere il bagno mi è stata ribadita prima della prenotazione, ma per me non ha rappresentato un problema.

Un apartamento muy acogedor

Pros: El desayuno no estaba incluido, sin embargo la anfitriona nos dejó café e infusiones. Nos faltó el agua.

Cons: Podría decir que el subir y bajar tantas escaleras, pero fuimos avisados en todo momento por la dueña del piso.

Gezellige studio voor een goede prijs-/kwaliteit verhouding.

Pros: Leuk studiootje met heerlijke bedden en balkon! Liesbeth was een super vriendelijke host en heeft ons goed geholpen met vragen.

Cons: Het toilet is 2 verdiepingen naar beneden. Dit had liesbeth van tevoren al aan ons laten weten en vonden we opzich ook geen probleem. Als je iemand bent die er ‘s nachts vaak uit moet om naar het toilet te gaan dan zou ik hier niet gaan logeren…
