Next to the perfection.

Pros: Breakfast was generous and continental. The hotel staff paid attention to our total well-being. Perfection was almost reached except for a few points to reach.

Cons: Ask me as I am a professional de la perfection.

A wonderful stay!

Pros: Perfect location — everything is within easy walking distance from the hotel, including all the main highlights. The breakfast was excellent , with buffet and a la carte options and served in a beautiful setting, which made the mornings extra special. The rooms are spacious and the building itself is a stunning classical property. A wonderful stay!

Cons: A few small details could be improved: there was sometimes a smell coming from the basement connection to the car park that reached the hallways, and on one day our room wasn’t restocked with toilet paper. We also extended our stay, but the automatic TV welcome setting wasn’t updated, so the TV suddenly switched on early in the morning. Overall though, we really enjoyed our stay — with just a bit more attention to these details, it would be perfect.

Comfortable room and great bathroom

Pros: Quiet and peaceful. Very comfortable, with good facilities and good spaces. Good size room, comfortable bed, great bathroom (even with a heated mirror - so important for those of us who wet shave!).

Cons: The bar and restaurant felt a bit soul-less and over formal. Restaurant was expensive.

Fantastic!

Pros: The building is beautiful, a real architectural gem. We were there to celebrate my son's 30th birthday and the hotel went the extra step to wish him a happy birthday. They laid a banner on his bed and had a delicious little cake that was beautifully presented under glass. It was such a lovely gesture was a great start to our celebration weekend!

What it should feel like to stay in a 5 star hotel - outstanding service, real attention to detail

Pros: The staff was extremely polite and courteous. It was my girlfriend's birthday and they brought a complimentary cake for us, and upgraded us to a room with a bath. Thank you!

Pros: Absolutely everything, it was super close to the citycenter. But still in a very quiet neighbourhood! The rooms were comfortable, very clean and the staff was very friendly!
