Tangla Hotel Brussels

It was good and comfortable for our 1 night stay.

Pros: I liked the design of the hotel (including the air design in the common areas -- they smelled really nice), my daughter and I were pleased to see the Chinese New Year decorations. I liked the aromatic soaps and shampoos (L'Occitane), as well the high quality of the tea in the room and the nice and clean kettle. I liked that the towels were in a good size and amount, also the hair-drier, bathrobe and clean slippers were available in the room. We also liked the little decorative elements in the room. It was possible to open thew window to air the room, if necessary, and change the room temperature with the temperature control.

Cons: I forgot to ask about the free wifi access, so we didn't use it, but it would have been nice to put the info about the access in a more visible place. Not a criticism, just a suggestion: for families with little children it would be nice to have some small pillows in the room, because the usual pillows are too big for a little child (my 4 year old daughter slept without a pillow, but she didn't complain). Another thing, but that's a criticism aimed towards the modern hotel architecture: a window between the bedroom and the bathroom (with a roll-down shade) is a weird, peep-show-like architectural detail that is out of place in such an otherwise very elegant hotel.

Pros: Very happy with everything, staff very helpful and hotel lovely

Cons: Our stay was so very short as we were there for a funeral of a dear friend from Ireland so we were very happy with everyone at the hotel.

perfect hotel, not so much the Dynasty restaurant

Pros: ALways perfect, I always go there when in Brussels. Rooms are so comfy, beds are great, sound insulation is exceptional. THe swimming pool is fairly unique in size for a city hotel. Public transport, restaurants and a huge shopping mall are within 10 minutes walk.

Cons: We tried the Dynasty restaurant for the first time and that was a major let-down. Waiters without any clue, food seemingly coming out from the microwave or re-fried, dry, all for a steep price. I love the hotel and the other restaurant but this one is a miss.

Pros: The swimming pool, the sauna, the gym and the very comfortable rooms.

Cons: Almost nothing. But as a suggestion I would advise the hotel to add more nuts, fresh fruits and fresh salads to the breakfast buffet.

Stayed before and will stay again

Pros: great, mixture of chinese and Belgium Fresh and hot

Cons: possibly an earlier start for evening meal than 7pm

The hotel with an outstanding location, staffed by exceptionally helpful and courteous personnel,

Pros: The breakfast offered was an intercontinental selection, with a chef available to prepare meal options, served from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

Cons: The first hotel met expectations with no issues to highlight.

Pros: Everything was on point, the hotel was 5-7 minute walk to Alma Station

Cons: The pool closing at 9pm is too early. I will advise you extend it till maybe 10pm

Pros: Breakfast and sport facilities (although more discretion from the cleaning staff would be desirable in the women's changing room at the swimming pool).

Cons: The breakfast staff could be a little bit better trained (e.g. clearing plates, setting the lunch table while you were still having breakfast).

Good value for the price

Pros: Beautiful hotel with nice facilities and friendly staff
