Residence Inn by Marriott Ghent

Pros: Everything was perfect. The bed was very big and comfortable. Staff was very helpful. Definitely recommend 👌

Great value, great property, excellent staff

Pros: The hotel was very clean, bright, modern with huge rooms and comfortable quiet bedrooms. Great facilities and excellent friendly staff.

Cons: It’s a little out of town, but we knew that when booking. We were there for NYE so just used Uber to get in and out of town. If not holiday period there were buses from outside hotel, so don’t be put off.

Would definitely use the hotel again, if returning to Gent.

Pros: Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice and buffet style. The room was spacious and well equipped with all the mod cons you could ask for. The bed was a little soft but reasonably comfortable and fine for a couple of nights. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, helping us with booking a restaurant and finding our way around.

Cons: The toilet was bizarrely very high and as an average height woman, my feet didn't touch the floor.

Definately reccomend this hotel. Hope to be back soon.

Pros: Excellent service from ALL members of staff who were cheerful and knowledgeable when enquiries were made. Brilliant breakfast. Hotel spotlessly clean.

Cons: Poor internet and TV. Both were intermitent and slow.

Excellent hotel and location

Pros: I'll stay at your hotel was excellent in all respects. His location is ideal for an overnight stop whilst transiting the motorway all in all first class.

High-quality accommodation for an enjoyable short trip to Ghent - both for business and leisure!

Pros: Our room was rather spacious with a high quality interior. The sofa and the bed were very comfortable and the shower was pretty big. The kitchenette in our room was equipped with basically everything you could ask for to prepare a meal (in case you're travelling on a budget or you prefer to eat your own food ), oven and mini dishwasher included. There was no stovetop, however, it would have been possible to get a portable stovetop brought to your room. The breakfast was great, with everything I could have wanted and more, but then again, I don't have the highest of standards for a breakfast buffet. The staff was very friendly and helpful, too, without fail!

Cons: The lamp next to our couch didn't work and we didn't have a toilet brush in the bathroom (the receptionist told us it was a rather new company policy to exclude those from the rooms). Also, the infrastructure for public transit wasn't great, so we took an Uber into town. While everything seemed to be clean and hygienic (no mold or limescale in the bathroom - in fact, one of the cleanest bathrooms I've seen in a hotel; everything looked neat, the floors were mopped every day etc.), the very top shelves in our room had not been wiped for a while. Everything considered, however, that's not a big deal at all.

Great Marriott

Pros: The staff are excellent, friendly and professional. The rooms were clean, well designed and mattresses were comfortable. House keeping staff are excellent.

Cons: The rotating door entrance is to narrow. Clothing gets caught in it. But it does add some hilarity.

Would definitely use again if in the area.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. They helped us booking a restaurant and were very attentive. The breakfast was great, with a wide selection and ample quantity. The rooms were well equipped with everything you'd need for a couple of nights. The bed was very comfortable, the room temperature was perfect and there was no noise to disturb our sleep.

Cons: Bizarrely, the toilet in our suite was very high and as an average height woman, it wasn't very comfortable.
