Perfect for one or two nights

Pros: The room was clean and tidy and all the necessary amenities for a short stay. The staff was nice and helpful

Cons: Our room had a window to the street so it was quite loud due to its closeness to the train station

Pros: I was very pleased with the staff's attitude. At my request for a quiet room, they put me in a four-bed room with two bedrooms, one of which overlooked a quiet courtyard. The room was very clean. The furniture isn't the newest, but it's not a five-star hotel. And the price was reasonable compared to other hotels. The room had everything I needed, including a kettle and tea set, bottles of water, shower and body gel, a refrigerator, and so on. I was looking for a hotel close to the train station, as the flibco bus to the airport Charleroi departs early in the morning nearby. And this hotel is very convenient in this regard, just 5 minutes from the airport shuttle stop.

Practical for a short stay for train travelers

Pros: Location at the train station, the Indian restaurant right below, good Internet connexion, comfortable bed

Cons: The working desk was a little small with bad lightening, the window view

Excellent location, brilliant rooms and a competitive price

Pros: The room was an excellent size. It was clean, warm and had a great view of Ghent. The bathroom was also well sized, and didn't feel cheap. It felt and looked upmarket. The room had a large fridge which actually worked properly which was useful storing water. There was also a kettle and a TV. The bed was also extremely comfortable and very helpful and friendly staff.

Cons: The only issue was the shower head holder was broken so there was no way to have a shower unless you held the shower head at all times

GREAT FAMILY-OWNED HOTEL WITH FANTASTIC NEPALESE RESTAURANT ATTACHED AND EXCELLENT LOCATION

Pros: The room was big and comfortable. We slept very well in the big bed with nice linen. The restaurant next door, which is run by the same people, has delicious Nepalese food. The family who run the hotel are so kind and helpful and it was a pleasure to deal with them. The cleaning lady also retrieved some earrings from the room that I had left there after check-out. The room was very clean. Fabulous location for the Gent St Peter's railway station.

Cons: I did not get the chance to tell the hotel owners because we left in a hurry but we thought there might be something wrong with the sockets in one corner of the room next to the table because the telephone and lamp there were not working.

First Trip to Ghent

Pros: Friendly staff, excellent evening meal - curry. Comfortable bed, cosy room, tv, WiFi, great location, excellent service.

Cons: Perhaps improved by smart tv

A very convenient and comfortable hotel

Pros: The location was perfect as it was close to trains, trams and buses. It was also within walking distance of the conference venue I attended- Gent ICC and also importantly, the city centre. The meal at the restaurant was also very nice. Maybe room service can be considered?

Cons: Nothing. Absolutely enjoyed my stay!
