Amazing short break, definitely be back.
Pros: Location was perfect for gent, bus was 15p return day pass from the PR water sport bus stop down the road from the campsite which run every 10-15 minutes. Accommodation was beautiful as well as the camp site, staff were great.

A lovely place that needs a few touches amending.
Pros: The location was great for exploring Gent. The bus just a short walk up the road takes you straight into the city and they are very regular. The property was small and clean with lots of bathroom space.
Cons: The lodge was really cold when we arrived and took quite a long time to warm through. The microwave is located really high which I find dangerous and there was no kettle. We had to boil water in a pan on the stove to make tea. A small kettle would be a good addition! Other fixtures were also really high which made it difficult for our child to use things such as the soap dispensers! The parking is a bit of a trek with luggage as there is nowhere to park next to the lodges. This was really difficult for me as a disabled adult.

Great location and nice modern, luxury lodges.
Pros: Great location and luxury lodges, set within a wider sports area. We explored Ghent, Brugges using bus and train and went swimming in the lake (great slides for kids). Pizzas also served at the bar which was handy when travelling about. Also great skate park / parkour place nearby.
Cons: Nothing really - toaster would have been handy.

Glamping in style
Pros: The Glamping Tents were amazing with great Aircon a d good layout. We like the proximity to the lake for water sports etc. The Waterkant restaurant had great food
Cons: Noise. There was a lot of noise, industrial noise all through the night every night. During the day the noise was less. It wasn’t the motorway noise, constant background noise like fans and jet engines

A fantastic glamping/camping haven in Ghent
Pros: Such an amazing location and awesome retreat in the middle of the city. Highly recommend this place and the glamping tents available.
Cons: The sense of camping as a kid. You got to know your neighbours and enjoyed the outdoors in comfort. A great experience from when we arrived to when we sadly left.

Pleasant stay, great for family with kids.
Pros: - position, great for exploring Gent - in general, the glamping tent itself, easy and well designed - the comfort of the bed - the bathroom and the good shower and the rituals product - the quite atmosphere, beautiful nature and space to enjoy outside the tent (sofa, hammock) - the free access to the beach - activities are not too close so there not noisy
Cons: Suggestions: - inefficiency of air conditioning (maybe putting it higher? - the parking available and free of charge is ok but it would have been better to have an assigned slot nearby the tent - please add a long figure mirror - please add a small grocery shop inside - the minigolf is a nice activity but there’s no shade, we could never used - you promote fishing on booking, but it’s not really a service- it would be great to offer fishing lessons activities for kids (it’s ok to pay for it) - the fact that the bar was not open in the morning and for lunch, not even vending machines (hopefully with healthy snacks) - not having a real offer for lunch (quality of food on the beach is very poor) Ps. check the lamp in the bathroom that was flickering (I told the receptionist). Also another lamp in the bathroom was already not working.

Pros: Clean spacious lodge for a family of 4. Beds were comfortable and the facilities were new and great. Wonderful to have 2 toilets /bathroom. That was a bonus for us! Wood stove Pizza stall is open til 10pm so thats wonderful for us. We didn't have to drive out to look for dinner! You can also take a bus to the city and back for 15 cents. Just ask the staff where to take it. It's just a little walk away.
