Cosy Nest in Historical Center

Best location, plenty of space, great host, enjoy the stairs.

Pros: Brilliant location, so perfect for Christmas markets. Lovely responsive host and comfortable beds. The space feels like a country holiday cottage - plenty of supplies, but guests should know the staircases are steep and bathroom & kitchen fittings are more quirky than modern.

Fantastic city break!

Pros: Location was fantastic and perfect For exploring the Christmas markets. Great size for us all and plenty of Space for us all. Close to amenities.

Cons: Just couldn’t work out the temperature control on the shower.

Pros: It had everything we needed, we loved it and it was the perfect location for our stay!

Great apartment and value for money

Pros: The apartment was a large size, and really nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with different electricals, crockery, and some basic items (e.g., oil, salt, spices, etc.). The flat was within an easy walking distance of central landmarks and nearby supermarkets.

Cons: There were only 2 real negatives (although I still think the apartment was great value despite these, and would book again). First, the two sets of stairs for the apartment are really off centre, making them difficult to go up or down quickly (we all had good mobility). The second is that sometimes, as you approached the apartment door from the outside, there was a distinct drainage smell.

Great apartment in fantastic location

Pros: Location was excellent, lovely spacious living room, ease of checking in and checking out. Responsiveness from the owner when there wasn't enough towels.

Cons: Only one toilet and if you were sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room you had to go down sleep stairs to go to the toilet in the night. No lock on the toilet or bathroom. But these weren't major issues

A marvellous six day break to Brussels and Bruges which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Pros: The location of the apartment was great. It is in an interesting area surrounded with decent restaurants and bars and was quiet at night. It is situated a short walk from the Grand Place and is served by two metro stations, neither of which is more than ten minutes walk away. The living/dining space is huge and extremely comfortable to relax in.

Cons: A little bit of caution is required with the stairs up to the apartment and the also up to the living room as they are steep. If you are reasonably fit and with decent mobility they are not a problem to navigate but use of the handrail is advised. We also encountered a problem altering the temperature of the water in the shower, which was a little to hot, but that may have been our ignorance over the use of the controls.

A great location for a short stay in central Brussels.

Pros: The apartment is in a fantastic location, surrounded by nice cafes and restaurants on a leafy little square. The bedrooms are comfortable, the shower (once we figured it out) and the 2 sinks work very well, with plenty of shampoo and soap. The living room is enormous, so the sofa bed didn't disturb us during our 4 day stay, we enjoyed spending time relaxing on the comfortable armchairs, listening to the wide collection of CDs and eating round the large table. Pierre was helpful in giving us extra kitchen towels and keys when we asked for them.

Cons: It is surprising that with up to 6 people staying, there is no lock on the bathroom or the toilet door. The 2 flights of stairs need to be attempted carefully, they are charmingly uneven. The bedrooms could do with a little more shelf space, especially for a 4-day stay.

Spacious, comfortable and central. Perfect for a group of 5-6 persons

Amazing apartment in a perfect location. Highly recommend!

Pros: The apartment is very spacious and full of character. The main lounge/living area is really cosy and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city. Location wise, the property couldn’t be in a better area with great restaurants, bars and shops on your doorstep. I would definitely like to stay in this apartment again if visiting Brussels.

Cons: Overall the apartment was pretty clean, but the oven baking tray had lots of crumbs/pastry inside from previous guests. The shower took a bit of getting used to where if you turned the knob in a specific position, the water shot outside of the cubicle (and on you). It needs to be moved directly to the 3 o’clock position to avoid a drenching. Oh, and the stairs are very steep, so something to consider.

The place was comfortable and had everything we needed. You can’t beat the location.

Pros: It lived up to its name Spacious Charming. The location was a very short walk to Grand place and all the chocolate shops. Pierre was a great host in answering our questions promptly.

Cons: You just need to be careful on the stairs.
