It was a joy to stay there.

Pros: A most unusual set-up. A period step-gabled terraced house in the historic quarter. Our room was actually two large rooms, modernised but with beamed ceilings, as well as a spacious shower room. Quiet neighbourhood because of car restrictions. The establishment, which also has a pretty garden, is run by San, a charming woman, who served up delicious and very imaginative breakfasts which were more than enough to set us up for the rigours of a day's sightseeing. She was most helpful and kind.

Cons: There was nothing I disliked.
