Charming Suites Jan Zonder Vrees

For a nice girls trip and family!

Pros: We came here for a short girls trip of 3. We often come to Antwerpen for a night or 2. I would say this is the best hotel /bnb we've stayed. Amazing facilities, quiet and amazing location. Staffs and owner of the place is amazing. Beautiful decorated rooms. Definitely will comeback again.

Cosy, charming (living up to the name), spacious,well stocked suite. Great price in a great location

Pros: The room was very comfortable in an excellent location in the heart of the historic centre. We stayed in the Burgundian suite, which was cosy and well stocked. Breakfast was cold continental with fresh produce. Nicolas the host was extremely welcoming and kind. My partner managed to badly sprain her ankle during a run one morning and he provided an ice pack! Nothing seemed to much trouble. Would definitely recommend

Pros: I can’t stress enough how beautiful this place is. The decor is full of character, with thoughtful, unique, and sometimes playful details around every corner. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, with adjustable heating/air conditioning and lighting, very comfortable beds, and enough bathrooms to easily accommodate six guests. Coming and going was very easy with a private entrance and door code. Even though it’s located right near the old city center, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, and made sure we felt welcome and well looked after. Breakfast was a real treat, a small personal highlight was the music playing in the background, for me it fit the space perfectly and added to the overall atmosphere.

Cons: As is to be expected in this kind of historic building, there are some stairs, and a small set of steps inside the suite. It didn’t bother us at all, but could be worth noting for guests with mobility considerations.

Pros: What did I like? Everything! Superb host, stunning room, real character, all mod cons, warm, clean, large, comfortable, water & Nespresso coffee included, 3 minute walk to the main square, similar distance to all sorts of coffee shops, restaurants, bars, etc, (partial) view of the castle from the room, cosy little patio / terrace area.

Cons: If you have trouble with mobility, the stairs may be a problem.

Pros: Everything was thought of and provided in a modern and friendly way

Cons: Some rooms are a few stairs up, so not suitable if you cannot climb a couple of flights

Pros: Great host who can’t do enough for you. Delicious breakfast too if you’d like it. And a fantastic location. Highly recommend!

Best guesthouse I have stayed in

Pros: The suites are indeed charming! Beautiful old building that has been fitted out to a very high standard. Excellent hosts, they have thought of everything you could possibly need. Great location. The breakfast is great too, so much choice and so thoughtfully presented. This was my second stay here, I loved it so much that I came back.

Pros: Very good breakfast, more than we could eat. Excellent location, couldn’t have been any better. Car park only 100m away, like all city car parks, expensive but convenient. Nicolas is a excellent host, always helpful and knows all the best places to visit.

Cons: Shower was a bit weak, but it works. A very small detail in an otherwise faultless room.
