Lovely stay

Pros: It was great value for money having two big bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singles. Location was very walkable to everything and a tram went outside to town. Stefan was very helpful with recommendations and advising how to check in.

Cons: Worth noting there’s no shower gel/shampoo so make sure you bring some (there was a Carrefour a short walk away for provisions) and there was no tv either but that’s a good thing as best to be out and about to explore.

Pros: Beautiful, comfortable property. Stefan, the owner, was extremely helpful.

Great price, staff and location.

Pros: Excellent location, tram stop literally 50 metres from the door. The staff were great, Stefan the owner was in contact via WhatsApp to suggest some stuff to do and restaurants and attractions to visit although we already had plans. He also made a point of coming to have a chat with us before we made our way out for the day. It’s a quirky little place, actually located within a little cafe that you are given the keys to. The decor is really nice and clean, and the 2 separate rooms we had both came with fans, spare bedding and a nice big clean shower and toilet. The fridge and tea/coffee facilities were also located in the cafe rather than the rooms which was fine for us. Nice little garden at the back of the cafe too for anyone wanting to use it.

Cons: Whilst it didn’t make any difference to us, I would note that the rooms are located upstairs and may not be suitable for anyone who isn’t the most mobile.

This was a very nice experience overall. A place where we felt at home and well cared for.

Pros: The place has a strong personal touch with a rustic feel and lovely decorations, making it super cosy and welcoming. The rooms were very spacious. The host was super helpful providing lots of tips. We enjoyed the fresh and tasty breakfast very much, including a really good cup of coffee.

Upstairs of a bakery

Pros: Excellent location. Quaint, charming house full of character. Beautiful garden for our private use in the evening. Host very friendly and informative. Very tasty (yet expensive) breakfast.

Pros: Beautifull rooms and most sympathic owner on earth. ….and the breakfast is really great.

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay here. Spacious rooms, comfortable bed, lovely wooden floor, and the personal touch everywhere. Stefan, the host, has so much to share on what to see and where to eat in Antwerp - we felt sorry we had no time to check all the things on the list. And the breakfast portions he cooked for us were also very generous!
