Pros: Very good location and safe place. The bed was so comfortable. The complimentary coffee and tea were a very kind gesture. I will definitely come back again.

Confortable and relaxing experience

Pros: The property was absolutely beautiful, full of charm and character. Staying there for four days felt like stepping back into a European classical era: elegant, timeless, and very chic! Definitely a place to return to.

Cons: I got accidentally put in the wrong room for a night and had to change rooms the next day. Unfortunately I had a migraine while I had to move all of my things so it was not good timing.

Pros: Luxury apartment in the very heart of Brussels. The interior is tastefully designed, with everything brand new after a recent renovation. If you’re looking for stunning Instagram photos — this is the place. On the ground floor, there’s a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine, fridge, toaster, stove, and all necessary utensils. There are two 24-hour convenience stores nearby. Cafés are just a 3-minute walk away, as well as the main attractions and the famous flea market.

Great value and a refreshingly different type of accomodation.

Pros: Loved the period decor and unusual fit-out. Bed was very comfortable, shower was good, room was spacious. Close to the intercity train station (Brussels Midi) plus metro and bus very close. Lots of bars and restaurants close by. Area full of students and migrants gave a nice vibe and energy. Very good value for the price.

Cons: Others have complained about the stairs. That’s unfair because the photos on booking.com are accurate. To be clear - the ground floor is the entry, kitchen and sitting room only, so if you book here you will have to go up stairs. Up one level for rooms 1 and 2, up another level for room 3, and as the levels have cathedral height ceilings, it’s a bit of a climb. The staircase is a tight spiral wrought iron one. Not suitable for large bags or for those with balance/mobility problems. Otherwise it just means exercising some caution coming up and down. Our only criticism is that they could be better lit.

Pros: It's just a great project with furnishings all sourced from the local flea markets. If you just want comfort and not unique atmosphere and history, book a standard hotel - it's not for you. I absolutely loved it. La Marolled is ace, full stop.

Cons: Only turn the front door key to the right or you'll be buggering around for ages:) Sort it Hugo, and good luck moving it forwards!
