Dolfijn Hostel

Small friendly hostel run by Daphne who was extremely kind.

Pros: I stayed in all female room on first floor with views over the street and down to university.

Cons: Old building, noisy stairs. As I wasn’t staying for work, it was fine.

A good day in Antwerp !

Be nice to others.

Pros: Price with breakfast is hard to beat. Not too noisy, the streets are slow traffic. I like beds and pillow was also same style what i use at home and they feel new.

Cons: I like when all guests respect each others cause at hostel you are not alone.

Great place to base yourself in Antwerp.

Pros: Located a short walk from the main square, it's very well located. The building that it was in is charming. Beds are comfortable. The breakfast was very good considering the price. The owner and his wife are lovely.

Cons: There was only one bathroom with shower for two rooms of 6. Thankfully there were plenty of other bathrooms with just a toilet located throughout.

Pros: Staff very friendly and guests aswell... Breakfast a little minimal or essential...but a lot a very good... The bosses are just wonderful. Really understanding people...im on my way to rehab center and i have been supported psicologilicly. Nicola

Cons: Nothing a part a guest who was complaining for a light boulb no working inside a shower...with a full working light. In the whole bathroom....unbelievable...I didn't know I need ed a light inside the shower....for what?...strange people these chineses

Pros: - Very central location, nice to walk downtown - Daphne has been very kind to everyone, full of attention, available and most of all she trusts clients Helping myself for breakfast on some mornings was very fine by me, she provided complete information on my arrival so I could feel at ease with this - Very ok with my roommates - Sharing breakfast time with other guests, all of them nice and very polite - Antwerp in itself is beautiful, very much reflecting history and ancient times, for those who like it. I was lucky enough there were quite a few entertainments live during my stay. Flemish people really enjoy having good time, definitely. - Never felt insecure within the area at night countrary to some comments I could read - Personnally adressing Daphne now : I want you to know it was more than pleasant to share those conversations with you, in such a friendly way, I can remember when it was time to depart, so grateful to you both for this heartful moment.

Cons: - Nothing, It was my first time down in a hostel, and my opinion regarding this very one is very much positive.

Pros: I really like the property is so clean. The beds are comfy. Dolfijn is so friendly and so kind. The hostel has best breakfast. I had so much food. The breakfast is so healthy. Location is an amazing. I highly recommended the hostel.

very convenient, friendly staff and good value for money

Pros: The staff, Daphne, was super kind and helpful. It is really close to the center. Room was clean.

Cons: A little table in the room would have been helpful.

Pros: Une découverte très originale et extrêmement sympathique que cette noble et belle demeure du XVIIe siècle au cachet fort charmant, reconvertie en auberge à l'espagnole, à la sauce conquistadores, et qui porte le nom d'un illustre propriétaire précédent, l'artiste peintre anversois Willem Dolphyn (1935-2016). Notre hôtesse se plie en quatre pour vous recevoir et vous mettre à l'aise. Ambiance familiale, situation géographique centrale. Le petit-déjeuner très sympa dans la pièce principale d'accueil. café, thé & co à disposition H24. Une température juste un peu plus élevée en chambre et dans la salle d'eau et ce sera parfait ;) Danku wel & tot binnenkort !
