Hotel Du Parlement

Always like to return to this hotel for many years.

Pros: The location is great, just next to the European parliament.

Cons: No toileteries provided.

Good for a short stay, keep in mind that there’s no lift.

Pros: The room was very big and clean, that’s a big plus. Also, it’s very close to the parliament.

Cons: Quite an old building and a lot of stairs (no lift). Bedding was not comfortable too, and a bit overpriced in comparison to other hotels.

Pros: Location is very very good. Breakfast and lunch options were sufficient and nice. Prices were very good. Place is a bit dated but also carries its own unique vibe, which in my opinion was still very nice and cosy.

Cons: Just needs modernisation but nothing beats its location, prices, and friendly staff.

Pros: Great location - place de Luxembourg, very close to European institutions, super close to the European Parliament. The included breakfast is big even for a person for whom it is the most important meal of the day. My room included everything necessary for a short stay, even a kettle and a small fridge. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Cons: The only thing that bothered me was the key getting stuck in the door of my room.

Pros: Very close to the Parliament and also the Luxemburg train station, so easy to reach from the airport.

Cons: No lift. The shelves were not level - objects tended to slide off!

Pros: The staff and the location were perfect, but the breakfast was very poor and the walls were too thin so you can hear everything. All together, I believe that it should not cost that much.

Pros: I loved the period features like the high ceilings and coving even if there are a few areas which are a bit tired. The breakfast was delicious.

Cons: Doors to the bathroom were rather narrow. There is no lift which might be an issue if you have any reduced mobility and are on an upper floor.

Pros: Excellent location if you have to be close to buildings used to EU meetings. Staff is very kind and helpful.

Cons: Shower was not working properly. There is not enough room to place clothes and belongings. A small desk would have been useful.
