Nice small old fashioned guesthouse in the middle of Old Town

Pros: Old (realy old :) ) wooden furniture in the room. Breakfast room. Breakfast was nice though not abundant. Guesthouse is small, less than 10 rooms.

Cons: Heating was switching on only at certain hours. Nobody was there when I came at ~18h but they opened remotely.

Pros: Excellent pre-arrival communications. Location worked very well for our purpose. Charming decor on religious theme throughout. Cozy spacious well-heated and comfy room. Informed of boiler problem 24hr prior to stay which meant No Hot water. Were offered option of cancellation but decided to keep the booking as the location worked well for the meeting we were attending. Maybe a small token discount on what is a rather expensive room would have been appreciated in view of the inconvenience on a super cold winter's night. Beautiful breakfast room with excellent breakfast buffet.

Cons: Room description included slippers & gown & alarm clock so I left my own at home. Slightly disappointed to then have to walk around barefoot on rather well-worn /stained carpet. Either the description needs to be updated or the items provided.

Pros: Comfortable and spacy room, excellent glutenfree breakfast (requested).

Nice stay in a homely B&B

Pros: Nice little hotel in the centre of Leuven, very close to everything. It has a cosy, homely atmosphere, both in the rooms and the common spaces. There is a salon with honesty bar, where also breakfast is served. Breakfast was plenty as well, with everything I needed. I can certainly recommend this place.

Cons: It's an old building, so you can hear people in the corrido. But this remark is more aimed at other guests who should keep quiet.

Cozy

Pros: Very good location, big room, feels fresh, nice decoration.

Cons: Breakfast starts only at 8am, it is late for a city where many people come also for business trip.

Small guesthouse in the heart of Leuven

Pros: Hotel De Pastorij is situated in the heart of the university in Leuven, just across from the theology faculty. The rooms are lovely - we had stayed once before in a different room, so we had some comparison. Our room was very spacious, with good storage space, a nice bathroom, and sitting space and a desk as well as the bed, and a very silent fridge. The breakfast was good, with fresh orange juice and coffee, a good selection of fruits and berries and cereals and cheese and ham and bread. It is very quiet. There isn't a permanent reception but there was someone around most of the day, who was very friendly and helpful. Everywhere is beautifully decorated and there is a lovely atmosphere. Usually it is fully booked, so we were delighted to find a room there and whenever possible, we will always try to return.

Great find. Clean, great location. Friendly staff.

Pros: Located in a quiet spot, short walk to downtown. Breakfast had a good selection and was served in a beautiful room. My bed and linens felt comfortable. The apartment was cute and homely. The properly was extremely clean. The owner was extremely nice and welcoming.

Cons: Not a problem for me, but there is no lift.

Pros: Very good location.. Quiet even in freshets wrel! Good breakfast Comfortable and quirky. Good communication with owner before and check in smooth.

Good value for money - would certainly recommend.

Good guest house close to city centre

Pros: Very close to the city centre and near lots of restaurants. The rooms were basic but comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Cons: WiFi wasn’t brilliant but it didn’t spoil our stay.
