Hotel The Shepherd

Pros: The hotel is conveniently located not far from the main square and Saint Peter’s church in the city centre. Also, the neighbourhood is indeed nice with a small church right next to it and some cafes and pubs. The breakfast was good, there was a relatively wide selection of pastry and other stuff (that muffin-cupcake was marvellous). I must appreciate the front desk and staff, they were really nice and helpful. My room was located at the first floor with a with to a street, well equipped including a hair dryer which came handy.

Cons: I did miss fruits and especially vegetables during breakfast. I unfortunately need to mention that my view from the room wasn’t a nice one as there was a big dumpster right below my window so I could see a lot of trash (luckily it was during a winter time so no bad smell). I guess that the dumpster was there because a house right across the street was being renovated, but still… they could have moved the dumpster somewhere else.

My stay was very nice and peaceful.

Pros: The staff was very nice and the room was very cozy.

Cons: The stairs were a bit narrow.

Pros: The location, very near turistics places. Excelent breakfast. Very clean and confortable bed.

This is a very confortahbe hotel that delivers on the essentials well and provides excellent value.

Pros: Located very conveniently for the centre of the town. The room was newly refurbished, clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and the owner of the fscility, whom I met on the day of my departure, very helpful in sorting put a snafu with the tax company which was supposed to pick me up when leaving Leuven did not send the driver on time.

Cons: The facility is small and the stairs to the upper floors cramped. I used the elevator so no big deal.

Plesant, coasy.

Pros: Breakfast- very good, but some vegetables would have been nice.

Cons: A bit smell in the room, like rigole.We open the window to refresh a bit the room. was ok afterwords. Some sleepers would have been good to find in the room.

Stunning Location, A Lovely Stay.

Pros: Perfect location in a quite part of the city, really near nice cobbled streets and a really picturesque old religious quarter. The staff were very friendly and the whole check in process was very efficient. The room was comfortable and warm considering how cold it was outside and the beds were clean and easy to sleep in. The bathroom had everything you would need. Breakfast was excellent a really good selection of food and drink that was super tasty.

Cons: Our room was next to the lift and was quite noisy throughout the night but it didn’t overly effect us

Convenient in Central Leuven

Pros: Convenient with reasonable walk to KU Leuven and train station

Cons: Top floor rooms have sloped ceiling that can be a bit low in places. Steps to lift

Pros: Very comfortable and welcoming hotel, clean, quiet, well-managed, excellent breakfast

Nice hotel for business stay

Pros: The location of the hotel is central. The room was sufficiently large and very clean. It was quiet, no problems encountered. The food offering during breakfast was okay.

Cons: Food selection could be better. Most of staff members were polite, but one was not so welcoming. Pretty pricey in general for what it can offer, although the place is exactly as advertised on Booking.

Pros: Good hotel, with great staff and location. Room was quite clean. Very good breakfast.

Cons: Very small bath room.
