I would always stay at the Begijnhof Hotel when I visit Leuven.

Pros: It was clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable bed, clean and bright hotel and great location for the football stadium.

Pros: The bed was very comfortable, the hotel is bright and clean and location is excellent for the football stadium and its not far to walk into the main town and the train station.

Cons: The open plan bathroom offers no privacy. Despite having to pay for an expensive room as the cheaper ones had sold out we were surprised that we were only provided with one cup (we did obtain another at reception), two coffee sachets, two teabags, two milks and two sugars for the entirety of our stay which covered one afternoon, overnight and the next morning. These had to be shared between two of us. We have stayed at this hotel before in a cheaper room and were very impressed. I don't feel the extra cost was warranted although the room was bigger.

Pros: The building is beautiful and calm reigns. The friendliness and efficiency of staff was remarkable and we enjoyed the quiet garden, the debates on its interesting artwork and the delicious breakfasts.

Cons: All pleasant for professionals, settled older crowd but perhaps less suited to a younger crowd. Difficult road crossing for shops.

Pros: Great clean new looking hotel, good design of the rooms, super comfortable. Good breakfast, tasty and can fill you up with selection of cheeses and other goodies. Quiet. All you can expect from a decent hotel. I only wish it wasn’t so expensive.

Lovely hotel in Leuven

Pros: Excellent location for a conference nearby which I attend every year and I always stay at this hotel. Comfortable and clean room. Breakfast had a good selection.

Very comfortable and enjoyable

Pros: Great location, close to most amenities and historical sites in the city. We were amazed by how nice and comfortable the hotel room is. Parking is also very convenient and relatively good priced.

Cons: Coffe machine in the room was very nice but a separate water boiler is also needed.
