Quite allright

Pros: Room quite OK, very quiet on that night, very clean, bedding quite OK. Unfortunately very cold on arrival, had to call help to find heating. Personnel could not find thermostat. In the end were radiators. TV channels far from ideal (channels, reception -blurring/blocks-) could not find list of channels, remote very unreliable. Negative: paid parking.

Pros: Very nice, cozy place. Clean, comfortable. Based in an old building (ex prison), enchant vibe. The cheep public car parking. Nearby 6€ per day or 0,6cents per hour. Breakfast included. A bit far from city center, but it really does nt matter if u have a car

Characterful hotel. Great value for money.

Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Easy access to public transport, bus & train. Quiet location. Nice breakfast, still plenty of choice toward to end of breakfast time. Beautiful huge room.(301) Good blackout blind. Always piping hot water, shower had good pressure, not walk in, over a bath. The room had lots of large exposed wooden beams, which were very characterful & they had managed to keep the whole room spotlessly clean. Interesting information placed around the downstairs communal areas about its use as a prison. Much of the original architecture seemed to have been kept in the breakfast area. Plenty of seating, where later in the day people chose to stay. Good selection of Belgium beers at the bar. Coffee machines made excellent coffee.

Cons: Room was on level 2a.(roof space) The lift did not go up that far. Coming down the last step was deeper, uncomfortable jolt until I remembered it. A bit of reflective tape there would be useful. The sofa bed was not wonderful. The Air conditioning seemed to turn itself off after a few hours. Wi-Fi reception in that top corner of the hotel was not always reliable. But don’t let any of that put you off, it was a lovely stay in a great hotel.

Pros: Perfect location just a few steps away from the busy Brussels suburbs. Very comfortable rooms in industrial style. Very nice and clean as well. Friendly staff, nice bar and great breakfast!

Cons: Keep in mind not all rooms are elevator accessible, The 3rd floor you'll need to reach the staircase for.

Pros: Very good breakfast buffet. Spacious room. Very quiet spot. Parking directly at the hotel is not included but cheap. Friendly staff. Very good renovated building with an interesting history.

Special Unique Hotel ❤️

Pros: The building is amazing , wonderful spaces , high ceilings, lovely old and new combinations . For somewhere with maybe a slightly dark past , it felt peaceful and positive. The staff were fantastic , and the breakfast was the best continental breakfast I've had ( and I've stayed in a lot of hotels ) we only stayed for one night but next time we would like to stay longer .

Cons: Personally, there was nothing I didn't like , the car park doesn't belong to the Hotel so you have to pay for it but it's a lovely court yard safe feeling car park right next to the Hotel so I think it was a bonus and not a negative.

Would highly recommend staying here
