Jacob’s Getaway

Pros: We loved the location of Jacobs Getaway to the restaurants and things to do. The apartment was very spacious for 2 couples and had everything we needed.

The perfect apartment to experience the city, we had an amazing stay.

Pros: The apartment was beautiful and really well equipped for our stay. The location couldn't have been better and was in easy walking distance to all of the sites. The host was very helpful and sent us recommendations before our arrival. We really couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Cons: Street was a bit loud at night sometimes - but expected given central location.

Great location for exploring Gent, very spacious, and clean and the host was very helpful.

Pros: The kitchen is well equipped and there is a small coffee and pastry shop just across the street.

Cons: Higher quality bedding would be a big improvement. There were a few small details that would make the stay even better: a bottle of hand soap next to the bathroom sink, nightstands next to the bed, a bench or chair in the bedroom, someplace in the shower (besides the floor) to place shampoo and body soap.

Enjoyable stay. Can't beat the location.

Pros: Superb location. Historical sites all within easy reach. Apartment is spacious. Some very good restaurants on the door step.

Cons: Entry to the flat (first floor landing) is off putting. The apartment suffers from the odour coming from restaurant below (solved this with scented candles) At night there was a lot of noise coming from the street until the early hours.

A great location, guest host information and super well connected for all the local attractions.

Pros: A great apartment right on the edge of a bustling city. A very short walk (3 - 5 minutes) and you’re right in the centre of Ghent. Apartment is nice and spacious, light and airy. Sofa bed was fine for an 11 and 7 year old, whilst we had the bedroom suite.

Cons: If I had to be pressed for improvement feedback, kitchen utensils lacked a few items I’m sure will be purchased for future guests. A colander to drain pasta and bigger mugs for coffee and tea would be our suggestions.

Amazing, would recommend to anyone visiting Ghent.

Pros: The property was exceptional. The location was perfect, so easy to access everything we wanted to see, and it was large and beautifully done! The excellent restaurant downstairs was an added bonus!

Cons: We would’ve loved bedside tables and lights for reading but that’s about it!

Beautiful apartment, clean and spacious located centrally in Ghent. Great pocket near cafes and shop

Pros: Location, high ceilings, beautiful spacious apartment, new kitchen and great bathrooms. Made our stay!!

Cons: No air-conditioning but we had a very random 35 degree day and hot week which isn't customary in Ghent so I can understand why there is no cooling. They have heating.

Huge apartment, amazing location

Pros: The location is excellent! Everything is within walking distance. The apartment is huge and very comfortable. It has two proper bedrooms plus sofa beds, two bathrooms and three toilets! The stuff was very kind and helpful, sent us lots of info about the city, attractions, restaurants etc.

Cons: Cleaning was not super. The kitchen wasn't cleaned properly but they apologized for that a lot and they offered us free drinks at the restaurant downstairs and a bottle of local gin which was greatly appreciated.

Lovely weekend in zGhent

Pros: Loads of light and space yet cosy interior. Location is exceptionally, especially with young kids. There are resto and takeaway in the hood at kid friendly times. Love the WhatsApp system to communicate efficiently. The hosts r super kind as well as the restaurant crew downstairs. The terrace has this amazing magical view, especially in the morning light. There is an elevator. A winner!

Pros: It’s an amazing property, in the middle of the centre. Very clean and spacious. Perfect for a family or a group of friends . It’s like you can see on the pictures even better!
