Breathtaking Views in heart of Ghent

Wonderful spacious apartment above the canal.

Pros: We loved our apartment in Ghent. The location on the canal close to the old centre was wonderful and the apartment had so much space after other places we had been. The little deck and kitchen allowed us to eat in for breakfast and some nights and just watch the life on the canal. The kitchen provided a coffee and some basic supplies which we appreciated. All questions we had were promply resonded to. It is also close to the tram line with access to the station which makes it a fabulous base in Belgium for day trips to Brussels, Bruges and Ypres. Also a lift was much appreciated.

Cons: It did advertise a washing machine which it no longer has and it doesn't have air-conditioning but the through breeze in the flat is fine to cool it down on a hot day.

Abseits vom Trubel und doch mittendrin

Pros: Sehr gemütliche, schön gestaltete und ruhige Altbau Wohnung, die im Zentrum von Gent liegt. Mit einem kleinen Balkon zur Leie hin!

Super! Sfeervol, top locatie.

Pros: Prachtig appartement dat heel sfeervol is ingericht. Het zit ook op een top locatie! Heerlijk comfortabel bed, en een top bad. Prijzig, maar niet voor wat je krijgt. Veel leuker dan een hotel waar je hetzelfde of zo niet meer voor zou betalen.

Cons: Pas een half uur nadat we hadden (en moesten hebben) uitgecheckt kregen we informatie over hoe dat moest. Dat zorgde even voor wat verwarring omtrent de sleutel wat na een heel vriendelijk belletje van de verhuurder was verholpen. Dus verder geen probleem.

kurzer Aufenthalt in Gent in einer ganz besonderen Ferienwohnung direkt am Rande der Altstadt

Pros: Diese Unterkunft hat eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Sie ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, und es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Sogar frische Blumen, Kaffee und Tee wurden für uns bereitgestellt. Der Vermieter ist sehr aufmerksam und erkundigte sich mehrfach, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Die Lage ist perfekt für die Erkundung der Stadt!

Cons: Eigentlich war alles schön. Wenn man jetzt nach Minuspunkten sucht, könnte man anmerken, dass die Küche nicht ganz sauber und der Balkon vorteilhaft fotografiert war (in Wirklichkeit sehr schmal…). Für Menschen mit Rückenproblemen ist das Bett etwas zu weich, aber man kann den Topper abnehmen, dann geht es…

Pros: Location is great. Host is very helpful. I've found everything I needed to feel like home.
