Pros: Very quaint and characterful, good location. Staff were outstanding

Pros: Great location close to tram and close to the city centre. The house has a unique charm, it was very clean, equipped kitchen, clean towels, heater which made the ambience beautiful. Owner was very helpful with information and easy to contact.

We loved Gent and our stay at Rudy’s cottage. Rudy was a considerate and responsive host.

Pros: Absolutely top marks for location near the historic Centre of Gent. Walking distance to all the sights an also easy distance to tram for exploring further or getting to rail station.

Cons: Loved it all as described. This is a historic old cottage and as expected does not have modern conveniences. Fine for 3 but possibly better for 2 so you can still use sofa in living area. We found it as advertised with everything we needed and loved the location.

Pros: Very historic and great location. The backyard is beautiful. The owner arranged additional bedding very quickly.

Perfect stay for Ghent

Pros: Perfect location plus free off road parking for the car. Great communication from Rudy, comfy bed and a little welcome box of chocolates! The cottage was perfect for our one night stay - wish we could have stopped longer as we loved Ghent.

Cons: Stairs are steep - fine for us but others may find these tricky

A lovely stay in this quaint cottage

Pros: Location was excellent. Very close to the city centre. It had a dedicated parking space. It was very comfortable and warm during a rather chilly week. We had everything that we needed.

Central with private parking

Pros: A short walk to the main square and canal. Easy parking even though in the centre was a great asset. No need to carry keys around because entry by code. Basic accommodation but clean and great for a short break.

Cons: If we stayed longer there would be a need for more kitchen utensils. But ok for a couple of days... especially with some great places to eat in town!
