Best way to start the new year

Pros: Understated luxury experience a surprise not the expected regular hotel accommodation. Great location , water feature in the property and Michelin star restaurant onsite makes it a good experience stay

A magnificent find

Pros: The ambience of the property was second to none. The evening meal was out of this world, made even more fun as the menu was in Dutch. The staff attentive and helpful. Exceptional wines .

Good place to stay if you need to lodge in this area.

Pros: Lovely converted brewery, very nicely decorated, comfy rooms, free parking. Very clean and welcoming, nice garden and we heard the restaurant is also very good but didn't have a chance to eat there.

Cons: Breakfast was not well organised, only from 8 am to 10 am on a Sunday (would expect it to be until 11 am). We arrived around 9 am and the buffet was almost empty, hardly any bread, no rolls or croissants. The charcuterie took ages to be replenished and it was refilled at the buffet instead of being prepped in the kitchen for a quick exchange from empty to full plate. It was all a bit chaotic - guests were going to the kitchen to ask for eggs. I think the owner was away that weekend, maybe that's why it wasn't up to scratch.

Pros: What a find! Beautiful old building and stunning courtyard with water feature ….rooms are decorated in a very clean and minimalist way, the bathroom was huge and staff wonderful!
