Nice and private place for business travellers but still close to everything

Pros: Friendly staff, cozy place, not near the road yet 2min walk to everything, clean room, chill lobby

Cons: Restaurant fries looked and tasted like they came from the freezer, for the rest meal and drinks were ok. nothing i specifically disliked about the hotel.

Had a wonderfully relaxing stay.

Pros: We can't fault anything, Breakfast was great. Room was lovely and in particular liked the garden views both from the room and from the public areas.

Pros: The comfort and cleanliness of the room and the parking space.

Cons: Breakfast can definitely be improved. Not much healthy choices. For example, musli loaded with sugar, no real steel cut musli. Just a few vegetables pieces. They do have nuts (fresh and not roasted which is a big plus). They have gluten free bread option (but not gluten free sourdough).

Very nice hotel, albeit a little expensive

Pros: Comfortable room, clean and well furnished. Friendly staff. Car parking available without charge.

Cons: In comparison to other similar hotels it was expensive.

Our strongest recommendation

Pros: Great service. Very good breakfast. Nice room. Nice ourdoor and indoor facilities. Good value for the money.

Cons: That we only stayed one night. We want to explore the town of Waterloo the next time. This time we saw Waterloo museum, Lions Head and the battlefield.

Pros: Everything went well at the Cote Vert. Hotel lovely, gardens delightful, parking plentiful, rooms excellent with everything one needs, staff charming, food delicious, breakfast outstanding, dinner very good. Only criticism is that we would have like the restaurant to have been open at the weekends.

Cons: Restaurant closed Saturdays and Sundays.
