Citadines Saint Catherine provided a comfortable and accessible lodging, enabling us to enjoy Brussels!

Pros: Well situated close to the center and nice brunch places. Very clean and we feel that it is very good value for money

An enjoyable stay

Pros: The hotel is very well connected in terms of accessibility. The train station is located just 5 minutes from the hotel. The area is full of good restaurants. Although the hotel is located on the main road, we did not experience any problems with noise from the street. The rooms were equipped with everything we needed. Super!

Cons: Our room was located on the second floor, so I’m not sure whether that had any influence, but we could hear noise from upstairs early in the morning, which was not ideal for someone who is a sensitive sleeper.

Great place with a nice location and helpful staff

Pros: We were very happy with our room and the hotel. In the room there's a lot of amenities for people who like to cook something themselves. Also very useful things like ironing board and iron , hairdryer ( which usually you don't get in many places) . The hotel was very clean and quiet in a good way and has a great location close to the nightlife and also good transport connections which was important for us. The staff at reception was very helpful. We had several encounters with different people on the reception desk and they were all very helpful and gave us direction and advice for what we needed.

Excellent location and the breakfast was amazing. Shame about the comfort of the sofa beds!

Pros: The rooms were a nice size with good facilities, the location was excellent

Cons: The sofa beds were absolutely awful and so uncomfortable. The walls were quite thin so we were kept up quite late from all the noise around us.

Pros: Stayed here for a long weekend in February. The room was nice with everything you'd expect. Friendly staff, a nice buffet breakfast and a great location in a nice open square within walking distance of the historic centre, and only a couple of stops from the central station from where it's just a short train ride to the airport. Great value and would stay here again.

Reliable, more convenient than it makes out and excellent value

Pros: I've lost count of the number of times we have stayed here. It is convenient, in a lovely part of town, right by Ste Catherine metro and excellent value. No, the room decor is not in its first youth but is in a decent state, all is clean and comfy. Communal lounge / breakfast area is new and pleaseant, with free coffee all day (bring your room mug, though.) Convenient to have parking downstairs (E21 for 24 hrs and you can stay the day of check out till you leave). For the first time we properly used the kitchen as I was feeling ill so my husband popped to the nearby all-hours Carrefour Express (on a Sunday night, too!) and got a ready meal to heat in the room. Everything needed was there. I was very glad of a bath tub to soak in - old school, but we'll miss those baths when they are gone! Security is great - room card to access everything. We asked for a quiet room and got one looking on the inner courtyard. Not an amazing view but certainly very peaceful.

Cons: I had forgotten to make a reservation so I had to do it on arrival through Booking.com because the hotel could not book me in on their system and the Ascott website could not to same-day reservations so I missed out on my loyalty points. This all felt a bit clunky.

Pros: I really enjoyed the stay here! It was better than expected. The experience started with great service at the reception - it was more like 5* hotel, not 3*, the rest was good as well. Location is great. I think it offers the best value for money.

Cons: It is obvious that the hotel and the rooms are not new but it is well-maintained and clean, so it was not an issue for me.

Pros: The location is really good, there’s a metro station right outside the property. It is very clean and in a quiet neighbourhood. There is also a free coffe/tea machine inside.

Cons: The bottom bedsheets were ripped off and they did not perfectly fit the bed, so in the middle of the night they got away. Even though the staff was really really nice and caring, at the moment of the check in there were four staff members handling a customer, leaving the rest of the queue waiting for 20 minutes.

Convenient location

Pros: The location of the establishment is just across the street to the underground metro station, on a lively area. It's also 10-12 min walk to the Grand Place. There are brasseries etc in the area as well as an express supermarket for any necessities. I was staying on the 2nd floor with windows overlooking the square. It was not noisy though. The room had a small kitchen area where you could prepare and cook meals. However it's in the same room as the bed, as in the photos. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and looked clean. There were sockets all around the room (.and bathroom) so you could charge all your appliances. The staff was friendly. I think it was a good value for the money I paid.

Cons: The bathroom although it seemed clean, the tile joints seemed to be dirty. There was a nasty smell probably due to drainage system. Also, I would like more lights in the main bedroom, but that is a matter of preference.

Overall everything is good.

Pros: It’s close to everything, central station is just 15 minutes walk, you can drink hot drinks all day long sitting in the hall.

Cons: The only bad part is its lavatory door. You can’t just open and enter inside without pressing yourself to wall 🤭
