Perfect location, amazing views, incredible breakfast. What a gem!

Pros: Loved the perfect location but also my gorgeous room which really did have a view, the incredible breakfast (Just wow!), the three course dinner in the restaurant, the generous free mini bar. The bed was so comfortable too. All of it. Bie is a wonderful host who was incredibly helpful with luggage and organising a taxi for me. This is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in and would go back to Ghent just to stay here again.

Cons: Nothing. Perfect in every way.

Great for location, views and great breakfast offering

Pros: Great location. Fantastic breakfast offering - well presented in the hotel restaurant’s dining room. Great views from the room. Free drinks in mini bar

Cons: Spiral staircase is very steep and there’s no lift - will not suit anyone with mobility restrictions. Ours was the top floor room which benefited from a Juliet balcony and great views across the old quarter of Ghent.

Great value for money, great location.

Pros: The view and atmosphere of the room is wonderful. Staff are friendly and helpful. The parking arranged through the hotel is only 200m or so from the room and was easy to navigate to using the cars navigation.

Cons: The stairs up are a challenge if you have mobility problems. For us, over 60, it was no problem. You just need to take your time to enjoy this authentic building.

Great hosts, great staff. Awesome ambience and superb location. Definitely one of the best hotels in the area.

Pros: Location and all staff are exceptional. Bed and pillows ensured a good sleep. Great dining and drinking area both front and back and a great breakfast.

Cons: We knew about being able to hear noise from the room beforehand but if you take earplugs it’s not a problem. That’s the price of an original property in a “listed” category. We we’re happy with the situation.

Pros: We absolutely loved everything. It was a great place, with incredible views from the room. It was a great location, with attractions within walking distance. The restaurant had a delicious breakfast, and the staff was very friendly. Thank you very much for everything. We'll definitely be back.

Pros: Fantastic location. The room was very well appointed, clean and comfortable. Stocked mini bar. Breakfast included which was plentiful. All the staff friendly & helpful.

Cons: Light from stairwell into room at night. Take an eye mask.

Pros: FABULOUS! Hoteliers, Pascal & Bie are exceptional hosts. The location could not be better & secure parking is so convenient. Views from the suite are so lovely. As to the suite, we have stayed in some lovely accommodation, but this beats everywhere that we have ever stayed with an excellent breakfast in grand surroundings.
