B&B Allegra Nova

Allegra Nova was a lovely, warm and homey bolthole for us

Pros: Perfect location, very comfortable, nice decor, very hospitable hosts who went out of their way to ensure our needs were met

Cons: Lighting could have been better

Perfect studio for a city trip with a friend

Pros: The location was amazing, walking distance from the city centre. The neighbour that received us and gave the key, was super friendly. We decided to also use the sofa bed halfway our stay, and they facilitated this super smoothly. The studio had everything we needed for this city trip weekend.

Cons: A small window to open for fresh air. At the front no window could be opened and at the back at the patio only the full door could be opened.

Cosy and felt so safe.

Pros: Loved the Breakfast supplied. Bathroom etc. Would love to visit in Summer and have a glass of wine in garden,

Cons: Nothing really.

Great stay in Ghent center

Pros: The large room, quiet area, proximity to the city center and the very friendly host

Lovely find right in the centre, the studio was newly done, with lots of facilities. we loved our stay and hope to retur

Short Break in Ghent

Pros: Great host. Clean apartment with self contained kitchen and essential requirements. Very good quiet nights sleep on decent bed.

Cons: Not the hosts fault but local workers digging early morning....but I stress this was not something the host was able to control as I believe it was planned cable laying by the regional municipal authority.

Clean, well-equipped apartment - we loved it

Pros: Andre was a fantastic host, who gave us lots of great information about Ghent and the apartment. It had everything we needed with a very well-equipped kitchenette (including scissors - a handy wee item that so many places don't have!). We loved meeting the friendly ginger cat too :) Very comfortable, and we'd definitely stay here again if we return.

Great couple of days/nights in Ghent and the Allegra Nova B&B

Pros: We were greeted by the owner who immediately made us feel welcome, and provided us with a comprehensive overview about how things worked and places of interest, how to get around, etc. The kitchenette was well equipped, the bed was comfortable, and the shower/bathroom was clean with excellent utilities. The private terrace was a nice welcome addition to chill and relax. Breakfast supplies of croissants and bread rolls were provided on time each morning, and the fridge was stocked with yoghurts, meat and cheese, etc… Great location within 10 minutes to walk to all the main tourist spots, bars restaurants, etc…but quiet. We had a great couple of days/nights in Ghent and the Allegra Nova B&B Thank you 😊

Spacious and comfortable studio near the centre

Pros: The studio is very spacious and comfortable. It's ideally located: a few minutes walking distance to the historical centre, so I could do everything without public transportation. Andrei is a very nice host. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances, and there was even yoghurt and orange juice in the fridge. Breakfast is deposited in front of the main door at the time we choose.

Cons: Not a problem with the studio, but be sure to use the electric insecticide diffuser provided by the host or the mosquitoes will play their infernal symphony in your ears during the night.
