Short stay in a modern apt in the old city

Pros: The property is very central to the old part of Gent. The parking garage was easily accessible and close to the property. The modern spacious apartment is two floors up. It is immaculately presented with interesting quirky decor and good views. Access was provided via keypads with comprehensive explanations on how to use them.

Pros: The apartment is very clean and well located within few mins walk to old medieval town attractions.

Cons: The stairs to the upper floor is pretty steep and slippery with no handles. Need to be careful when climbing up/down the stairs.

Enjoyable stay, a shame we only had one night.

Pros: Location was great, unique, clean and pleasing apartment. No breakfast included but a full kitchen meant you could make your own.

Cons: Only fall down was a few things I feel could have been provided such as sugar, salt. pepper etc (more than one coffee pod each).

Spacious and beautiful

Pros: The apartment is spacious and beautiful, and its location is absolutely perfect

Cons: The “hyper-technological” aspect seems somewhat excessive. Access to the apartment via an app, lighting control through a tablet, etc., feel more like gimmicks and do not really make daily life easier. Moreover, although we had booked for two additional adults, the amenities were not suitable for four people: only three towels were provided, and just two coffee capsules were available.

Pros: Super fantastic apartment, an amazing space to be in. Clean, modern and bright with everything in good order. The location, being right in town, is also spot on. Despite being in the center of town, we found it to also be peaceful. We would definitely stay again.

Very stylish apartment made Ghent stay very special!

Pros: Cannot be matched for its superb central location and interesting, stylish renovation of an historic Patrician house. The rest of the street is varied and great: it leads down to Wild Child cafe where the coffee is so good and the barista very professional). Thereafter you’ll find the protected area of Elisabeth-plein. The house check in was virtual but functioned as it was meant to. Lovely and very spacious, kitchen, and outdoor rear balcony space with great skyline vistas. Immaculate facilities, very clean & modern interior. Good value for money. I liked that we could drop off luggage securely until our entry codes would function for check in.

Cons: Lights controls over-engineered, bedside lamps did not function despite following instructive steps; no bannister leading up to mezzanine/top floor. There is no headboard in the double/master bedroom so one pillow per person is very uncomfortable when sitting up in bed to read.

Short stay

Pros: Beautiful apartment in an excellent location. Has pretty much everything you could need but we weren't there long enough to take full advantage. Very clear and simple instructions sent by owner which made arrival very easy. Handy to be able to store luggage before or after. Pillows could be better but otherwise a comfy stay. Would recommend.

Cons: Might not be an issue to some but the sliding bathroom door doesn't close fully. And the gap offers a very clear view of the shower and no privacy against noise using the toilet. For a couple they might not mind but between adults and teens or even friends this could be an issue as the bathroom is right beside the 2 bedrooms. We took it in turns going upstairs to use it as it was a bit uncomfortable being on show.

Brilliant location, would visit again.

Pros: Absolutely excellent location for exploring the town. Very good instructions on how to find the parking garage and apartment entrance. Smooth check in. Amazing conversion and you could see the history in the building.

Cons: Nothing, it was all great.
