Pros: Very friendly and personal welcome by the owner, excellent location for visits at university campus. To the city centre about 15 min walking or taking the tram in front of the house. Early breakfast arrangement was possible. Comfortable bed!

Pros: The building is amazing, 6 minutes walk to the castle and the centre. Breakfast was good with great coffee. The owner is welcoming and has great knowledge. I enjoyed the hotel and we stopped in the African room which was really cool, decorated in authentic African stuff.

Cons: The trams passed by our window and being a light sleeper as soon as the first tram passed I was awake however my wife slept without waking and had a lie in.

2 night stop over in Gent

Pros: A lovely greeting on arrival. We were very well looked after. A quirky B&B. Excellent shower and comfortable bed. The trams stopped right outside so we had easy access to central Gent.

Cons: Perhaps tea/coffee maker in the room, but we did have access to a kettle downstairs so it was fine.
