See review - could not have been better

Pros: Beautiful old building, tastefully restored, lots of personal touches reflecting the owners' great taste. Great location close to the city centre, yet very quiet. We had two rooms downstairs that joined up in a lovely little courtyard garden with a big tree and lots of shrubs. Owners genuine and friendly, they clearly love the place. Great breakfast.

Pretty room with a pretty garden

Pros: We were in the Arabic blue Room the room was pretty with nice furniture and a door led out to a shared garden ,It was a good location close to town ,The host though we didn't meet her was helpful and offered advice on restaurants and boat trips .

Cons: When we entered into the B&B the first thing which hit you was the heat they had a heater on in a little sitting room the temperature outside when we stayed there was about 28 degrees .There was no proper window in the room we stayed in and it was very hot ,and though you could open the French door to the garden and then open the slatted shutters ,it didn't then feel secure and safe because people would then have been able to enter the room from the garden .It was very noisy you could hear the people in the room above ,moving furniture and talking quite loudly after 10 pm .Also they kept trying to charge us for parking , we arrived on foot we didn't have a car and also breakfast though we didn't have any because we thought it was fairly expensive. In England if you book a B&B ,breakfast is included in the price of the room not as an extra .
