A very nice hotel, would be outstanding if the toilet smell issue wasn’t there

Pros: Very spacious rooms, nice beds and convenient location

Cons: There is a constant toilet waste/sewer smell in the toilets so there must be an issue with the toilet units.

Value for money.

Pros: Staff were all very helpful and obliging along with good cleanliness of the hotel in general.

Cons: Choices at breakfast were a little disappointing but staff were excellent. Would have preferred a better bar for mixed bar options

Nice and clean room.

Pros: Nice clean room, helpful young lady on reception. All in all, nice hotel and good value for money.

Cons: No single bottle of water in the room, no tea making facility, surely a €1 bottle of water is not too much to ask for, perhaps it can be added to the bill if it is too much to ask for ? When passengers arrive late and tired, they don’t anticipate that the room has no water in it, like almost every other hotel room. The water in the shower was not strong enough, this was a mobile hose shower rather than a large fixed one on the wall. I prefer the later.

Pros: Restaurant of the hotel was very good. Rooms were big and comfortable.

Cons: Bathroom was a bit dated and should be renewed

Spacious room

Pros: The room was very large, comfortable bed. Very convenient that we even had a small kitchen. The breakfast was ok, but could have been better.

Cons: The sofa bed was not made, we had to ask the reception for pillows, blankets and towels.

Clean and outside the city

Pros: The welcome lobby area and cafe area in the hotel are very nice and modern but unfortunately the rooms haven't had the same level of modernisation. However the rooms are mostly in good condition, the shower powerful, breakfast offered is good.

Pleasant hotel

Pros: The hotel was decorated nicely, the food was good, and there were a few different choices . Staff were friendly This hotel was in an ideal location for me as i was there for surgery, and it was literally a 5 min walk to the clinic . Although there were a few issues , not major, i would return here

Cons: We arrived at 12 pm , we were told that the room would not be ready until 3 so we had to wait a while. I did tell them that we would be arriving early on the booking app. There didn't appear to be any people waiting for rooms, so I'm not sure if they were short of cleaners or not. The bathrooms are in need of refurbishment. The one we stayed in, it needed updating. Grouting in the bathroom was quite bad, and also the taps . The magnifying mirror was no good for me as I'm only 5ft 2, and you needed to be a bit taller to see in it as it didn't pull away from the wall like the concertina ones most hotels have . The room itself was quite dark. I would have preferred a brighter room, but we were only there for 2 nights, so we didn't ask to be moved . The cleaning in the room didn't get done , towels were replaced, but no new cups were given as we had used them for the coffee facilities in the morning, so I was slightly disappointed in this . No bins emptied either.

Great room, lovely dining space and Nicely managed rooms

Pros: Somehow beakfast was not included for me or I missed, but the room the suit for 3 was perfect with a little kitchen equipped with utensils the terras dining and food quality was nice

Cons: The temporary bed extension of the sofa wasn't that comfortable, but for a night, The car parking space was quite narrow, with two normal cars parked next to each other, and there was no extra space to exist after parking

One of the best Mercure hotels I’ve been to, it makes you want to come back.

Pros: Very polite staff, clean facilities, lovely clean smell around whole hotel.

Nice place to stay while visiting Antwerp

Pros: Good hotel at a reasonable price. Room spacious, clean and confortable. Very good breakfast. Far from city centre
