Pros: The guesthouse is at the centre of Brussels and Sophie is very kind and friendly. The breakfast is good and includes local foods.

Cons: We knew that our room was at 4th floor but we didn't know that there was not elevator. Sophie was kind enough to provide us a lower floor room the next day when it would be available but we kept the room because was quiet and we were already established. The bathroom is small and there is not a daily clean service.

Friendly, warm and welcoming guesthouse in an excellent location

Pros: Firstly the very warm welcome from Sophie, she’s friendly and helpful and makes some good recommendations. The room was cosy and well designed with more than enough storage for a few nights stay. Also it was warm which was very welcome on a very cold and snowy weekend in Brussels. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice of pastries, fruit, eggs etc. The homemade chocolate spread was delicious. Some people mention the stairs - this is an old building and while the stairs are spiral they are not especially steep or narrow and quite manageable (my husband and I are 68 & 71 albeit with no health issues and had the 2nd floor bedroom) Location is perfect, only a few minutes walk to the centre in one direction and the museums and galleries in the other. It’s also only a few minutes from Central Station should you want to visit other places in Belgium.

Cons: Nothing at all - would highly recommend for a stay in Brussels

A great base and location to explore Brussels, Brugge, Ghent and Waterloo!

Pros: The location was wonderful. Close to central station and the Grand Place. The staff were very helpful!

Cons: We were on the fourth floor (there is no lift). If you have poor knees you may struggle. There are 77 steps!

Pros: A very special, interesting and cute building and interior. Attentive staff. Very good location.

Cons: The narrow staircase was atmospheric, but might be an issue for some people, especially, with heavy luggage.

Pros: Location superb 3 min walk from the central train station.

Cons: There is no elevator. If you get a room on the fourth floor be ready to carry your luggage 4 floors up on a steep and narrow staircase

Good fair place with great hospitality

Pros: It was a pleasure to stay there. Thank you Sophie! We felt welcomed. Our hostess met us and shared good places nearby. Room was clean. Location also very good. Breakfast was good but I personally would add some meat to sweet stuff :-)

Pros: Staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. They communicated well and ensure we had all the information we need to ensure a smooth check i . Breakfast included bread and croissants with home made jam and marmalade which was delicious. Location was good, close to the Central Station.
