ALMA Grand Place Hotel

Pros: Great location, nice size room & bathroom. Although the bathroom was down a narrow, spiral staircase, so wouldnt suit everyone. Comfy bed.

Cons: Pillows not great.

Ideal for a short stay in the city.

Pros: Location location location! Right in the centre surrounded by restaurants.

Cons: Room was cold on arrival but eventually warmed up.

A charming little hotel in an excellent location

Pros: A charming little hotel in an excellent location-everything is close by. It’s very easy to reach from the airport by train, and the hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the station. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: Breakfast was the same every morning - a bit more variety would be appreciated.

Ideal base for a Brussels weekend

Pros: Fantastic location just a stone's throw from the Grand Place. Great breakfast and staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and had everything we needed for our stay.

Cons: The bathroom was a little basic and could do with a bit of a refresh. The walls were also a tad thin so could hear other guests coming and going at times.

Perfect stay for our first visit to Brussels!

Pros: Fabulous hotel in a beautiful location near all the main sights. Loved the view from our room over the rooftops towards the Town Hall. Room was spacious with a big comfy bed and robe and slippers. Breakfast was much better than we expected with a wide variety of foods which were regularly topped up. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. A special mention to Suzanne for helping us with our taxi back to the station. Hope to return some time in the future.

Excellent location, very helpful staff and clean rooms!

Pros: Excellent location, right in the centre of everything. It made the city easily walkable which is the best way to explore. The hotel staff at reception gave some excellent recommendations for food and travel to Bruges/Gent. Being able to leave bags safe in the hotel after check was also very helpful.

Absolutely excellent location!

Pros: The location could not have been better. We were 5 minutes walk from Brussels Centraal station making it easy for us to arrive and depart. The hotel was within walking distance of many of the main attractions, including the Grand Place, Manneken Pis, the cathedral and many museums, shops and restaurants. We had a premier king room which was bigger than we expected. Our bed was massive and everything spotlessly clean. Pablo checked us in and out and was incredibly helpful and friendly - thank you! We'd highly recommend this hotel.

Cons: Our room was right above the front door and facing onto the street, and on Friday and Saturday night, you could hear people quite clearly outside - obviously not much the hotel can do about this!

Great value and great location. Would not hesitate to return or recommend.

Pros: We walked from the Eurostar terminal at Brussels midi to the hotel which is about 1.5 miles. When we returned we had a taxi and the cost was a modest 8 euros. The hotel was situated in the heart of the old city and could not be better placed for exploring the city and for bars and restaurants. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Cons: We did not find anything which we did not like.
