Rooms are small but lovely and clean in great location

Pros: Location was great . Not too far from the centre and close to some great bars and restaurants

Cons: The stairs to the third floor were steep and the hand rail wobbled

Edgar Guesthouse is perfectly situated and provides a no-fuss, clean and comfortable stay

Pros: Edgar guesthouse is well-located, clean, comfortable and has everything you need. There is no reception, but whatsapp messages are answered promptly. I actually prefer this!

Cons: I found the bed pillows uncomfortable but everything else was absolutely perfect.

Pros: Clean, simple, central. Everything you need. I stayed for three days and this was perfect for me.

Cons: Hard to find anything wrong but I suppose the stairs are a bit steep if you have heavy bags and you’re elderly?

Fab welcome from the owner, very comfortable and thoughtful facilities

Pros: Eline made us very welcome and attended to all our needs very quickly. The beds were really comfortable and the place was very clean. Great litlte breakfast shops nearby and a fantastic Syrian resturant, lots of pubs as well. Short walking distance to the main attractions would stay here again. Chocolates were given as a gift and we were allowed more time to leave our bags on the day we left.

Great check in/out system

Pros: I liked the check in/check out was very simplified and could be done in your own time, that was really useful for us late arrival. The room was lovely and clean and sparsely decorated but still retained a cosiness, very central as well

Cozy room in central Ghent

Pros: Cozy guest room, very centrally located in Ghent. The sparsity of the accomodation did not detract from the essential ammenities.

Cons: This is a great guest house for a weekend stay. Longer stays will find the room too small. We visited during the Jazz festival, which may have contributed to low value for money return.

Pros: The room was perfect, very clean, and the host was exceedingly kind. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location was great walking distance from the main attractions in Ghent. I would love to stay here again!

Pros: Central location, modern and comfy room, very helpful, kind and punctual staff. Included with coffee, tea, towels and shower products. Nice bed and pillows. The owner provides a list of amazing tips around Ghent for breakfast brunch diner drinks sightseeing and going out.

Cons: Some toilet cleaning products or perfume sticks would have been nice for the small size of the room when staying with a partner.
