Ghent River Hotel

Pros: Very close to bus station, walked to hotel from bus. Lots of beautiful things to see around Ghent.

Cons: I don't usually post negative comments about hotels as the nature of the beast is that someone will always have something they will dislike, but for a Sunday night it was noisy and the bathroom did not smell clean.

Comfortable and pleasant stay in this hotel with surprising breakfast room

Pros: I did a last minute booking, so I was happy with whatever I could get, but is was no disappointment. Since I live in Ghent I passed by this hotel so many times but never expected to find a hidden gem behind the somewhat ugly looking walls. The room on ground floor was very spacious, good bed and mini bar included. Bathroom spacious as well but maybe a bit outdated. Very good breakfast at surprising 3rd floor with a great view.

Cons: There was some (loud) lounge music playing in the hallway on the ground floor with the rooms, which was switched off after I made a complaint.

Absolutely perfect location to visit this beautiful city

Pros: The hotel is in a perfect location, a stone's throw from a beautiful square which is full of bars, restaurants and shops. However, it is tucked away behind the square so there is none of the associated noise. Hotel staff are super helpful and friendly. Our room was well equipped with a coffee machine, kettle, hairdryer and mini-bar fridge. Decor is quirky with exposed beams and support pillars. There are two disabled parking spaces right outside the front door. As I have a blue badge, this meant we could park for free for the duration of our stay. The gentleman on Reception kindly took the time to check this for us.

Cons: The superking sized bed, although super comfy, was equipped with only a kingsize quilt which isn't ideal. However the pillows were super soft. If I were to be extremely picky, I'd say that I think it's time to invest in some new bed linen and towels.. they are all a bit grey and tired.

I want to thank Mr Rezgar for their kind attitudes. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Pros: Beautiful atmosphere, kind staff, delicious breakfast.

Good stay and we will definately return to Ghent which ios such a wonderful city.

Pros: Great location by the sqaure. There was major construction adjacent to the hotel which at the weekend didn't bother us,however it could be noisy during the week.

Cons: We had a twin, maybe my mistake however it wasn't clear when I booked the room

Pros: The hotel is very well located, near the historical center and lovely restaurants. We had a lovely view over the canal. The breakfast was copious and very good.

Cons: A little bit noisy at night but it was not too disturbing.

Pros: Location was central and rooms were beautiful with lovely view. The breakfast had a great choice. Staff were very helpful and welcoming

Cons: I was in a room at the end of the building and could hear Noise from adjacent building site

Pros: Perfect location, very clean room with great view on the river!

Pros: So near to the center , staff was amazingly friendly and helpfull

Cons: Parking place is a bit problem in Gent , you can just park for 3 hours in most areas .

Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
