Amazing little hotel in the heart of Mechelen

Pros: Excellent location in the heart of Mechelen. Good parking. Friendly staff. Very nice old building completely renewed I went for work but felt like a mini holiday. Excellent value for the money.

Cons: Complicated to find the hotel and park because of the street works going on at the time I visited the hotel.

Would stay here again - once the city renovation is done

Pros: Lovely hotel feel, excellent staff, great inner courtyard, relaxing vibe, historic building.

Cons: Middle of a building site for a city upgrade. No current hotel parking due to the building works. Bad or no signage from the recommended Parking Indigo Mechelen Keerdok car park, across gravel that damaged our car’s paintwork

Pros: Liked the size of the room and everything about the room except for the pillows, and would have liked to have a bigger fridge. The hotel is really beautiful and will definitely stay there again:)

Good hotel - room was amazing - orange juice at the breakfast NEED to be reviewed

Pros: Room was fantastic ! Bath + very large bed + very large room

Cons: Breakfast is less appealing compared to what it was used to be. Orange juice is a DISASTER (taste like medicine)

Enjoyed the history and atmosphere.

Pros: All except my view was a construction site and our taxi Uber could not find you. Maybe he should have just entered Hotel Mechelen which should be the bigger name when I booked but instead there was confusion between Van der Valk and Hotel Mechelen.
