It was a pleasure to have met Kurt and stay at the Porta Superia, very good memories.

Pros: Kurt was there to warmly welcome us and provide all information for our stay. Breakfast was brilliant, fresh locally sourced produce, all delicious. Bed were super comfy, all our particular needs met, nothing too much trouble. Excellent location, near train station and the historic centre.

PERFECT! Will return whenever I need a stay in that region!

Pros: Superb location, Staff was super nice, I arrived very late at night, so I got a Whatsapp message beforehand with instructions on how to get instide and where to go. Everything was on point. 10/10 would recommend! Breakfast the first day was a selection of fine local cheeses with bread, self made biscoff in medieval way, self-made marmalade. everything was excellent. Breakfast for the second day I chose eggs, they were made on demand, scrambled as i wanted, also in a medieval way with a nice explanation of spices and aromas used. Everything was top quality.

Cons: Nothing, everything was as expected or even better.

Safe and right next to the train station.

Pros: As a solo female I felt very safe. Exceptionally friendly host. Very clean bathroom. Tasty and cosy breakfast. Walkable distance to the city centre. Friendly tip fur future travellers: take your favourite earplugs with you because you can hear noise from the hallway and other rooms.

Pros: The entire house is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. My bedroom was huge and a gorgeous dark green colour. The products in the bathroom were really good and the shower was also an original and pleasant surprise. (I'll leave you to try it and see what you think).

Pros: Great host, very informative and caring. Breakfast was perfect - super tasty home-made Granola, supported with a nice espresso macchiato and apple ginger juice. Rooms are spacious, bed and pillows extra cozy, shower very special:)
